[1.6 gal / 6.0 L] My Hadley is 19 years old and been through a lot. The lining disintigrated long ago. I'm so glad I stummbled onto the new insert at B&H. It is a huge improvement on the old one. Much stiffer and the velcro dividers are very practical for any setup. I eventually bought two.

[1.6 gal / 6.0 L] Admittedly I don't have a Billingham bag, but i'm very glad this insert is available separately. I bought it to use in my Goruck GR1 and it works perfectly. It also fits a locally made shoulder bag that I have, making it much more useable as a camera bag. This is a simple and well-made solution to transform regular bags into multi-purpose bags. It's not too bulky and the dimensions seem like it would fit a wide variety of bags. The only downside is that, while I much prefer the color to many of the brighter inserts, it does make it a bit more difficult to see the contents. But really, if you're just stowing larger items, it's not that big of a deal.

[1.6 gal / 6.0 L] My old Hadley Pro insert was looking kind of sad and the velcro-like sticky stuff was pretty worn so I went ahead and replaced the whole shebang. The new one looks better and the dividers grab and hold like they should. It fits and it is a direct replacement. But, really, the old insert is still in pretty good shape after well over 15 years of use. Rather than toss it out, I cleaned it up and it's still completely usable. Just like the bag itself, the insert wears like super-hardened steel. It also protects equipment well beyond its weight class. My old insert was used with Leica, Olympus and Panasonic equipment over the years--all smaller cameras that supplemented larger DSLRs. The Hadley bag kept them all safe and secure through many miles and a lot of bumps. I'm now using Fujifilm for my lightweight equipment I expect this new insert will keep it safe for years to come.
