A: The photo folder is matte with a gloss gold trim.

A: No, the clear plastic is sealed at the sides and bottom. You feed the photo in from the top and it is held in place by friction with the paper divider.

A: The overall dimensions of this folder is 9 5/8" x 7 5/8."

[1.4 lb] I got this album for my son to put his best friend's pictures in. It's a quality album, sturdy and a nice color for a dog album. Reasonably priced and refills are easy to add. I have not seen this album in stores, so something different. My son loves it. 5

[1.4 lb] I was happy to find those photo archival Extra tall pages Printfile 46-6G that holds six 4X6 Prints each; they are hard to find. The Dimensions are 9-5/16W x 12-7/8H and require a special 3 ring binder. They work well for my needs; the opening for the horizontal photo is across the inside edge of the photo, rather than on the top and are therefore well protected from dust.This is an excellent product. I also bought the binder which is very sturdy and good quality binder. 5
