The Nektar PACER is a programmable MIDI foot controller with Nektar's DAW integration, well suited for any musician or engineer wishing for hands-free control over software-based digital audio workstations and hardware synthesizers, effects, and instrument amplifiers. The rugged and stage-ready foot pedal features 10 programmable LED foot switches, 4 switching relays, and connections for up to 4 external foot switches and 2 expression pedals.

PACER comes preconfigured with a number of presets such as Line 6, Kemper Profiler, AxeFX, Avid Eleven, Elektron, and more. The pedalboard's connections can integrate with conventional footswitch sockets in your setup, as well as software guitar apps or other MIDI-capable hardware. With one switch of a button, you can reconfigure your whole setup, with up to 16 MIDI-messages or relay switch states at the same time.

The PACER is a hands-free solution for controlling a DAW and features a complete set of track and transport controls including cycle/loop, rewind, fast forward, stop, play, and record. Each switch offers its own large icon illuminated by an RGB LED to show the current status. Track preset controls a variety of features including solo, mute, record arm, and click. Nektar DAW integration provides advanced control for track and patch selection, RGB LED color feedback, and more. Most major DAWs are supported including Bitwig, Cubase, GarageBand, Logic Pro, Nuendo, Reason, Reaper, and Studio One.

A: The connections for the cable you've listed aren't compatible with the MIDImix. I would not advise using it for this purpose without a computer.

A: No, this is a controller only and there are no sounds in it to hear. You will monitor audio via your device's headphone output (computer/iPad).

[7.7 lb / 3.5 kg] I'm using this controller with the full version of Bitwig. Bitwig and Impact LX25+ feel like an instrument instead of a DAW and midi controller. One thing I don't like about theImpact LX25+ is Soft Take Over mode which is the knob has to be turned passed the value that is Bitwig in order to take effect. This is to avoid value jumping. I'd rather have immediate change even if jumping occurs. The first Impact LX25+ I received from B+H was defective, but returning it was easy and the one I have now is solid. 5

[7.7 lb / 3.5 kg] Very impressive keyboard controller for the price. I'm using it with Reaper and with the included Bitwig 8-Track and it works seamlessly with both DAWs for me on Windows 10. Good keys and great pads. Also impressed so far with Bitwig - the included copy is limited to 8 tracks but includes 3 instruments and tons of effects. Quite nice. This is my first Nektar product so I can't speak to long-term durability but out of the box its a hit. 5

[10.15 lb] I bought this so I could hit record/play/stop in my DAW easily while playing guitar/drums. Once I got the drivers installed it works flawlessly. It has the added benefit of moving up or down in the track list which is nice for some limited hands-free DAW operation. It also has tons of presets I've never used which probably add useful features but I haven't bothered with all that yet. Build quality is most excellent. Top notch. Solid metal with plastic buttons roughly identical to the Boss multi-effects pedals. Having said that, I am nervous about accidentally stepping on that jog wheel. 5 stars since I can't think of any reason to deduct points for anything. 5

[7.7 lb / 3.5 kg] This is one of those devices that is necessary to a small editing suite. The only problem is that it has so many features that you probably won’t use most of them. It has been great to use so far. Good feel to the keys. Simple to set up and plug into a program like garage band. I highly recommend it. 5
