This Wooden Camera Top Bracket for Director's Monitor Cage v2from Wooden Camera, available here as a replacement, is one of the main frame components of the Director's Monitor Cage v2. Featuring a built-in 15mm rod clamp, the bracket mounts onto the cage's main rod, along which it can slide up and down for easy and precise height adjustment. In addition to providing extra threaded 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounting points, the Top Bracket also features passive holes for mounting the cage directly onto the back of Odyssey 7Q monitors.

[0.2 lb / 90.7 g] Perfect cage with all options available. Scerews for all configurations follow, making the whole ordeal so much easier. Only negative from my side is the sun shade is flimsy, and don't sit properly around the monitor. But for me this is a non issue 5

[0.245 lb] I just bought it and I've only used it for 3 shootings and I already love it. You immediately feel the difference between recording with your naked camera and with the cage on. The camera becomes more heavy and stable. You can shoot at low angles without any problem thanks to the top handle. It is very versatile. Everything can be reconfigured to use it on the opposite side, except the wooden handle, of course, because it is designed to fit the right hand, although you could get used to using it backwards and grabbing it with the left hand to take advantage of both the camera grip and the one from the cage (which is what I did). You can also make your own DIY wooden handle and replace it. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. 5
