[0.135 lb] I have a red one to carry color and a black one for monochrome.

They do fine for my MF kit in a backpack. I keep them in those mesh outside pockets for water bottles, so they are secure and handy. So far, they have resisted the elements well, though I wouldn't expect them to keep film dry if dropped in water.

If securing the lid was an issue, a stop of Velcro would be a simple fix.
