[0.03 lb] I have the G9ii for a month and a half ,replacing my G9 after more than 3 years.I used it intensively for the last 3 weeks on a trip to Bhutan and Delhi, including rain conditions. It is an excellent camera, with great image quality, much better than its predecessor. I love the color profile.wonderful B.W. options too. The AF is very accurate and naturally much better than the G9.There are a lot of AF options so you have to practice it in order not to get confused..
It has great features for the photographer and videographer, so customizing the camera helps to exploit its advantages in an easy way.The camera is rigid and well-built. I didn' have to use more than 1.5 batteries during a full day of shooting ,including video clips.Very good value for the money in my opinion.
I used it mainly with the new 12-35mm,2.8 Leica lens. A very good combination .The Leica 12-60 is also a very good option.Depends on your needs.
I have been waiting for this camera for a long time, with a long wish list.It covers almost all my expectations. Very well recommended.

[Plastic] I have to say if it weren’t for the full frame sensor and beautiful image of the S5ii then the G9ii would be the only LUMIX camera I would want. It’s truly a video and photography Swiss Army knife. All of the features I wanted when I purchased my S5II vs the S5iix were solved when I picked up the G9ii. Now I have a perfect companion caner-a for my S5II and with the recent incentive on the G9ii buying this was a no brainer.

[Plastic] I had my eye on the Panasonic GH6 and all the reviews would criticize its focus ability. Then came the G9 II with superior focus and a lot of other nice features. But I was still wanting the GH6 or rather its successor and was waiting for when that might happen.

Then one day I downloaded the user manuals for the GH6 and the G9 II to my computer. I placed the manuals side by side and carefully compared each feature, especially the video recording options. I had initially believed that the G9 II would have a smaller number of video options but that turned out to be an invalid assumption. There were more video options with the G9 II and it being a photographer's camera to boot it now had my attention. Sure, it does not have a built-in fan but then again, I used it recently to film a friend's wedding (the pictures and videos came out nice and clear by the way) and the camera never once overheated and was still cool to the touch.

The nice thing about not having a built-in fan is that the microphones will not record the fan noise (these mics are really sensitive).

All in all a great little camera.

Some have said the camera is rather big for a micro four thirds but on comparing it with my Black Magic BMPCC4K it is quite small (well, that was until I attached a cage, a side and top handle, follow focus (great for controlling the lens zoom), a power brick and an SSD card).

I am also pleased with the internal battery capacity.

The fact that the camera can record in true Vlog is another wonderful feature.

The menu options, of which there are many, are all well organized and after a few days of use become second nature. I have used the built-in image stabilization (my poor gimbal is now gathering dust).

This to date is my favorite camera!

[Plastic] So far, I love this camera. I haven’t delved into the 800pg online owner’s manual yet, so almost all shooting has been done iA. Running it with Vario 14-140 and seems to be a great combo. Only lens I might add soon would be a macro.

[Plastic] I have been a long time Lumix user using the g85, and g9 m1 and I tell you the only issues with these cameras have been the auto focus system and have you always had to use manual focus. Well, they finally fixed it. The g9m2 the autofocus on this camera is incredible! Stays locked in no matter what.
