Use the Blackmagic Mini Converter UpDownCross HDfrom Blackmagic Mini Converter UpDownCross HDto automatically cross-convert between any SD and HD video format, with support for signals up to 1080p60. The converter incorporates one 3G/HD/SD-SDI input, two 3G/HD/SD-SDI outputs and one loop-through output, one HDMI input, and one HDMI output. This versatile converter supports scaling for computer DVI resolutions via its HDMI input, enabling you to connect HDMI computers to SDI projectors.

Features include automatic signal detection, reference in, reclocking, and audio delay for A/V sync. Settings can be easily changed using the diagrammed function switches, or via the OS X/Windows-compatible converter software. This compact converter features a sturdy metal housing, and includes a 12V universal power supply with a locking connection to prevent accidental disconnection.

A: UpDownCross HD has a wide voltage range of 6V to 36V so can be powered by D-Tap but you will need a conversion cable - which Im sure already exist, your B&H representative should be able to point you in the right direction.

A: Yes you can convert 1080 to SD. The Setup utility lets you configure the SD aspect ratio if you need it.

A: No. As Brian C. mentioned there is a 1080PsF@29.97 or 1080p@29.97 but not 1080i. The progressive segmented frame (PsF) is ideal when converting interlaced to progressive I think...

A: The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Analog to SDI accepts analog signals. Current iPhones and their lighting to AV out is are digital, HDMI signal. A: This converter will de-embed audio from the SDI Input. The SDI Output will be the same as the SDI Input. No change to the signal. So if there is audio on the SDI input, there will be audio on the SDI output.

[48 kHz, 24-bit] make sure you know how to set the dip switches properly or things get wonky quick. weve got everything converting into 1080p59.94 so just setting each units dip switches to that setting makes everything perfect. It does get hot but its never stopped working due to that 5
