A: A network switch or patch panel would work fine. It would hold a home theater PC well. But servers can be quite large. Not all 19 racks are built the same. AV and Telco racks are actually a bit narrower than server racks. This one is not nearly as deep as most servers. This particular rack is very sturdy, if you do decide to try it.
