[77 mm to 86 mm] As an engineering issue a step-up ring from one screw thread size to another is not hard. This one did what it claimed. I would be making a big fuss if it didn't.

[5 x 4 x 0.1"] Well made and sturdy. I got it as a make-shift hood for the tiny Panasonic 12-32mm which does not come with a hood for its minuscule 37mm filter thread. Although a 37-52mm step-up ring might make more sense depending on what filters or polarizers you want to attach.
