Designed for use with Adox Adotech CMS IV B&W Film Developer 100mLCMS II black and white negative films, this 100mL bottle of Adox Adotech CMS IV B&W Film Developer 100mLis a liquid concentrate film developer that improves upon previous iterations of Adotech CMS by providing greater shadow detail and tonal separations for more pictorial and longer-scale results. With this developer, CMS II films can retain truer film speed and be exposed between EI 20-25 in order to achieve perfect halftones, and the developer also helps to avoid streaking for consistent results. The concentrate should be diluted 1:14 in order to create 1L of working solution, which then has a shelf life of approximately four weeks. This developer is intended solely for CMS II films, and is not meant for use with older versions of CMS 20 film.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can these be used to fix paper prints?

A: While it may be possible to use the same fixer for both film and paper, I do not recommend using the same working batch for both film and paper. If you do plan to use the same fixer for both film and paper prints, I would create one working batch to be used with your film, and a separate working batch to be used with prints.

Q: 2. How long does it survive after being opened?

A: When it starts to turn dark i no longer use it

Q: 3. Which fixer to use for this developer? Suggest the most affordable and powder only please?

A: CineStill makes the CineStill Film F96 B&W+Bleach-Bypass Rapid Fixer (To Make 1L). This is a good option to use with this Developer. Here is a link to this on our site. https://bhpho.to/3tBG6xI

[4 x 2 x 1.3"] I used this with the matched Ilford simplicity developer. Excellent results and simple.
I really like the one use size, liquid pack.
Paired with the developer they are simple.
Much better than mixing powder into a quart or gallon and dealing with waste or storage.
