Designed as a replacement for the one that comes with the Kino Flo 2' and 4' fixtures, the Kupo Swivel Mounting Plate 3/8" Pinfrom Kupo Swivel Mounting Plate 3/8" Pinhas a stainless-steel ball joint with a 3/8" pin and ratcheting handle attached to the plate. The knurled, anti-rotation pin is intended to be mounted to a grip head.

A: the Kupo 3-Axis Camera Mounting Plate Kit is for 2" pipe. It is not designed for 1 1/4" pipe.

Q: 3. The baby drop down pin seems to have a deeper mounting point than this swivel adapter - if using on a boom is there a downside to this?

A: You can use this swivel pin on boom arms.

Q: 4. Does anyone know the ball diameter?

A: It's about 1 or 1 1/8 . I took a photo along with a ruler but this site doesn't allow more advanced answers.

Q: 5. how can you mount a dsrl camera on it?

Q: 6. can it be ceiling mounted?

A: As long as you have adequate support from above yes. I would look to anchor all four of the bolt holes into something very solid like a floor joist from the floor above. Be careful about finding a mounting surface that will provide adequate width so that you anchor all 4 corners using the provided holes. I would not bolt this to a drywall ceiling and attach anything weighing more than a few pounds to it. If you bolt this to the ceiling then you should also consider what you are going to attach to the pin and ensure that you can grip that pin firmly enough that it can hang upside-down with all of the weight trying to pull away form the pin.

Q: 7. Will Matthews C-Plus C-stand or other brands fir in the 2K kupos receiver -- because they don't fit in the Kupos runway base stands??

A: The Kupo Mitchell Round Mounting Plate with 1 1/8" Junior Receiver should accept 1 1/8" junior pins.

Q: 8. what are the dimensions of the plate please?

A: 5 and 7/8 inches by 3 and 1/8 inches

Q: 9. Can the male pin be removed and replaced with a baby pin? Strobes with modifiers tend to rotate down when not affixed to a pin with notches for the screw to snug into.

A: It is a baby pin. It is not removable.

Q: 10. Is there anything at all similar to this that fits a 1 inch pipe? I need to mount a jib hot head control arm unconventionally.

A: We do not carry any products simlar to the Kupo 3-Axis Camera Mounting Plate Kit that fit a 1" pipe.

[10 x 6 x 3"] Quality product. This worked just as I predicted. I used it to mount a 27 monitor to a C-stand. The mounting plate that was delivered was not square (like shown in the picture), it was in the shape of an X with the baby pin protruding out the back. 5

[1.6 lb] If you want to mount a monitor at a shoot this is the strongest cheapest option works with any decent c stand. I combined it with The Mount-It! VESA Mount Adapter Plate Monitor/Extender Conversion Kit we have 3 55 inch monitors on c stands as part of a set it just works well and is strong. If you want a great mobile mounting set up get the wooden monitor mount. These are real products not toys. I tried others that work but this is the best cheapest and strongest providing you have real stands made by avenger or Mathews 5
