Patterns, or gobos, are widely used by designers in theatre, film, photography and television to create atmosphere, project scenery, and generally enhance the visual impact of their lighting.

Conceived by some of the world's leading lighting designers, the Rosco range presently includes hundreds of standard steel gobo designs.

To insure design integrity the patterns are etched using a precise double-sided process on stainless steel. The result is durable, high quality patterns which will withstand the extreme heat at the gate of ellipsoidal spotlights.

Trimming of patterns, where necessary, can be easily accomplished with a pair of scissors.

Q: 5. does this unit put a lot of stress on the glass? I am concerned that the glass may brake if using a big lens ? Thanks.

Q: 6. Would this work with a Foba mini ballhead?

A: Yes - with the purchase of an Arca-type quick release plate, available from Acratech, Arca-Swiss, Foba, NPC, Novoflex & Wimberley: Foba BALPI Universal Quick Release Plate with 1/4 -20 Screw B&H # FOQRP.25

Q: 7. What kind of lights are recommended?

A: If you are using the Manfrotto HiLite Illuminated White Background (6 x 7') with the Manfrotto Window Voile for 6 x 7' HiLite Softbox, you may either use hot shoe speedlight flashes, studio strobes, or COB LED light fixtures to illuminate the softbox/background. If you are looking for recommendations, for studio strobe usage, I would recommend to purchase two (2) of the Godox DP300II Flash Head, B&H # GODP300II. For COB LED continuous light recommendations, two (2) of the Nanlite FS-150 Daylight LED Monolight B&H # NAFS150, would be a good option for your usage needs. https://bhpho.to/2PwrlJe https://bhpho.to/3JqGR7q

Q: 8. what's the max camera weight when using this item?

A: 3 lbs.

Q: 9. This may be a dumb question but... from the photo I see a tilt lock and a window clamp lock. Is there a pan lock and pan capability other than panning the device on the mounting screw? Is the handle for panning movement and is it also a lock?

A: The Nikon car window mount has full range of motion which permits viewing at any angle. There is a clamp lock which secures the mount to the window and there is a tilt lock which locks the tilt in the desired position. There is no need for a pan lock because it won't move position, and you would want the ability to quickly pan to a different position without having to first unlock it.

Q: 10. Can this mount be used with a Canon Rebel camera?

A: Yes. The Nikon Car Window Mount will work for the Canon Rebel camera or any 1/4"-20 mount camera.
