A: The device draws air from the underside while being supported by small flip down legs. Anything that would restrict the flow of fresh air from the underside would significantly reduce the efficiency and most likely defeat the intended purpose. I found that even loose papers should not be allowed on the underside. Hope this helps....

A: No, unfortunately the item only has one directional mode.

[0.95 lb] A travel stool, tripod and the Laptop Travel Table fit in my old day pack for a hike in the woods. When I wanted to study the sand with a portable field microscope, I quickly set up the workstation. Sitting at a desktop outdoors was the perfect way to complete my project. Plus it became a picnic table for refreshments. Next time I'll bring my laptop. The 2019 MacBook Pro 16 is actually 15 wide and fits between the four slots. 5

[0.95 lb] Love this - coupled it with a triple baby pin bar on top of an impact wheeled bace C-stand to create a compact audio recording set up for my son. Roll it from room to room as he feels or needs to for recording his music. One holds his laptop, another holds a mixer/usb interface, and a microphone arm on the center pin. Flexible, stable and the strap holes are there if we feel they are really needed (it's stable an sturdy enough that we don't for normal use) 5

[0.95 lb] Very sturdy setup for the studio. It's plenty large for the iMac, keyboard, and mouse. iMac is very secure with the bar. Pair it with a rolling stand that can take the weight and you've got yourself a great tethering setup in studio. We use it with the Tether Tools low boy rolling stand. Works fantastic. You'll also need the Kupo ball head adapter. Of all the various options and designs out there for attaching an iMac to a stand, this one is my favorite, since it also gives space for the keyboard and mouse. It's also one of the more cost effective options. Very happy with it. 5
