The special-edition red Shure SE535 Sound-Isolating In-Ear Headphones Redin-ear headphones provide top-quality audio in a sleek, compact, noise-isolating design that's ideal for use at home or on-the-road. Based on Shure's experience with professional in-ear monitors, each of the earpieces has triple high-definition MicroDrivers, in essence putting a separate tweeter and dual woofers into each ear for rich, detailed audio across the full frequency spectrum with a deep bass response. The ergonomic, professional design has a low-profile shape with an optimized nozzle angle for exceptional comfort.

The included fit kit contains multiple sizes of ear sleeves, allowing you to find the perfect size for your ear and effectively reduce ambient noise by as much as 37 dB so you can focus on your music. The detachable Kevlar-reinforced cable connects to the earpieces using gold-plated MMCX connectors that lock in place but also provide a 360° rotation. This rotation, along with the formable wire, allows you to direct the cable over and behind the ears to minimize snags and tangles. A 46" standard 3.5mm audio cable is included, as well as 1/4" and airplane adapters for wide compatibility with consumer and professional audio devices, and in-flight entertainment systems. A detachable volume attenuator lowers the volume of high-output sound sources. A compact and durable case is included for storage and transportation.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. i want to buy just the ear peace se425?

A: I'm sorry. We do not carry the Se425 without cables. You can try contacting Shure directly.

Q: 2. How are these compared to the SHURE SE846, the difference is too big?

A: I found the difference big, although not sure price difference is completely justified. But, 846's have more bass, can play much louder and still get full, clear sound. Having bought both ,(they fit my ears better than other brands) I would not go back to the 535's; the 846's are much more involving. Hope that helps.

Q: 3. how do the se535 compare to the se215 earphones?

A: To me the se535 is the best sounding earbud I have ever used. I listen to my music at no less than 44k and up to 192k. I get the fullness and quality of sound better than I ever have. Unfortunately everyone is different. Some people claim to not hear the difference between an MP3 and HD music. So if that's the case you probably wouldn't notice the difference in the earbuds either. For me though I highly recommend the se535. Good luck.

Q: 4. Hi ı want bluetooth cable for my se425 if ı will buy rce bt1 model one am ı lose sound quality.

A: You will lose some sound quality when switching over from wired to the Bluetooth adapter. However, you'll gain the convenience of wire free (well to some extend, there will still be a wire joining the two earbuds). I like the Bluetooth option for commuting, cycling, and workouts. If I want to enjoy the sound clarity of my SE425's when traveling or at home I switch back to the wire. If you live a active lifestyle and want the freedom of being unplugged from your mobile devices I would give the Bluetooth adapter a chance.

Q: 5. Does this earphone have mic?

A: This version of SE215 does not have a mic on the cable. If you'd like to add a mic to these ear buds, you can purchase this replacement cable with mic as an addition, BH #SHRMCEUNI.

Q: 6. What's the difference between the SE425-CL and the SE425?

A: There are no differences other than the color of the headphones. The SE425 being clear (CL).

Q: 7. Does the shure 215 operate using aIPad?

A: Yes will work with ipads keep in mind that is comes with a 3.5mm connection you will need an Apple 3.5mm female to c type or lighting adapter depending on which ipad you have. .Links of the adapters are below https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1280795-REG/apple_mmx62am_a_lightning_to_3_5mm_headphone.html?sts=pi&pim=Y https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1442282-REG/apple_mu7e2am_a_usb_c_to_3_5_mm.html?sts=pi&pim=Y

Q: 8. If I get it with 'mic & remote cable for apple' does it also come with the clear cable for the headphones? Not sure why they don't release a mic control cable in the clear version.

A: SE425-CL comes with fixed clear cable only. The SE425 kits with control cable comes with an additional black control cable (standard one-button is the CBL-M-K, and the 3-button Apple one is the CBL-M+-K-EFS). Both of these Control/Mic cables are available in Black only.

Q: 9. what is the width of the flexible cable (not the plug which is 3.5mm)?

A: I am not sure I completely understand your question. If you could rephrase that it would be extremely helpful. Specs for the EAC64CL - (Clear 3.5mm cable that is included) The cable it's self is 64 inch long. The part of the cable that loops around your ear is 3 inches long. The diameter is 1/8 of an inch wide.

Q: 10. The specs written for the blue, black and clear earbuds are all slightly different. But is there really any difference between them aside from the color?

A: No, the only difference between the blue, black and clear versions is the color. The black and clear are standard colors while the blue finish is a special edition. Specs are actually the same for all three.

[Dynamic] I’ve been using Shure 215’s and (discontinued) 315’s professionally for over a decade now and they’ve served me fine. But I recently realized how much detail I was missing when I forgot my IEMs on a regular gig (with my own monitor mix) and had to use a pair of classic Sony MDR over-ear headphones. Between shows on a 2-show day I popped down to B&H hoping to just buy replacement foams for my 315’s and walked out with a pair of 535’s intead (and a little anxiety about dropping the coin, somewhat impulsively). I played that evening’s show (same exact monitor mix I’d had for the matinee) and was *completely* blown away by how much more of EVERYTHING I could hear. I could hear the sound of the *wood* of the drummer’s sticks. After playing my regular gigs with the 535’s I feel like they were actually a bargain at the price. Would definitely buy again if I needed to replace them.

[Gold] Lightweight, amazing sound out of these little buds.
Finally had my first flight in over 2 years and these SE535 rocked it.
Great noise cancellation to drown out the ambient noises on an airplane. Just the steady hum of the plane's engines was heard/felt during my 2 1/2 hr. flight.
Comfortable fitting buds that are impressive in their transparency to the listener.
Thanks B&H!

[Gold] Upgraded from the SE425 to SE535 and didn't realize just how much I was missing. Goes toe-to-toe on bass with Bose in-ear headphones plus sounds better overall.

[Dynamic] I've owned the Shure SE425 in-ear headphones and the SE535 for some time now. I love the clear and non-bass reproduction of the Shure SE425, on my iPhone 6s especially in conjunction with the In-Line Remote/Mic Cable. When paired with the Bluetooth 5.0 Communication Cable, the bass is much more pronounced, almost too much for me!
The Shure SE535 headphones sound warmer, the frequency response may score better in tests, but in conjunction with my iPhone I prefer the SE425. However, things are different when pairing my Android phone with a DAC headphone amplifier: Here, the Shure SE535 headphones clearly show their strengths compared to the SE425. Without a DAC headphone amplifier, however, you can spare yourself the additional costs.

[3 per Earpiece] Simply, I can put this the best I've ever own. Great sound quality, best build quality. Only thing I'd like to mention is that it doesn't come with remote and mic cable. You will have to buy it and it costs around $50, and this cable is not as durable as the one comes with it. Original cable doesn't have remote and mic, but it is very durable.
