The CameraRibbon QR Premium Shoulder Supportfrom CameraRibbon QR Premium Shoulder Supportis a sturdy, lightweight, and compact padded shoulder support for ENG-style filming. This rig is designed to be used with select Sony, Panasonic, Canon, JVC, and other camcorders of the medium design/form factor. The support is made from a 2" tempered aluminum single bar and a 1"-thick tempered aluminum handle with a tapered vinyl grip. This Rig QR takes the strain off the camera operator's wrist, hands, and back. It has two offset weights located low and on the back of the rig for better weight distribution. This unique design provides four points of contact with the operator for stable handheld shots, while maintaining a comfortable and balanced posture for the videographer. A premium quick release plate is included and is compatible with Manfrotto, Sachtler Ace, and other tripods. This allows for rapid mounting and unmounting of the camera from the rig to a tripod and back.

A: Seems to work with anything you can put on a tripod. I use it with both a Nikon D4 as well as my Panasonic AG100p Cameras for ENG Videos. Not as good as a good gyro stabilizer like a DJI Ronin but no set up time and great for short static clips on the Go. I am adapting mine to take monopod and the Really Right Stuff quick release system so that I can quickly and easily set up for longer interviews. It's really pretty cool.

Q: 8. Will this be a good fit for Sony Pxw-z280? It's a solid piece with no length adjustment? Also, I prefer to use my LCD.

A: Yes, the Sony Z280 is a similar sized camera to the other models listed, and would work well with the Camera Ribbon Rig QR Classic Camera Support. Also, the built in quick release system of the CameraRibbon will offer a few inches of camera adjustment if needed.

[6.295 lb] Very nice small rig. Feels very solid and the arri rosettes are nice. I use this for my black magic pocket 6K camera and it’s a nice fix. Only con is that the rosettes were slightly loose when I unboxed this item. I had to tighten them with a screwdriver then they were solid 5

[6.295 lb] I bought the Camera Ribbon to use with my Panasonic AF-100 for live event capture and for documentary style videos that require fast action and responsiveness. The product is easy to setup and adjust. I wanted to be able to position the camera so I can use the viewfinder rather than the flip-out LCD. This product does the trick. It makes hand holding much easier and steadier. I took it for a test drive at the gym during a CrossFit competition and I was able to move around and capture nice steady shots quickly. It will not replace a rig to load accessories but is a great adjustable should support for specific cameras. 5

The quick adjust shoulder pad is a blessing when rigging the camera different ways and rebuilding it, as sometimes we run BP batteries, other times the balance is shifted by V-locks. The mounting plate clicks in smoothly and allows shoulder tripod moves to be done in 10 seconds. Highly recommended. 5

[6.295 lb] Other than marketing reasons to keep the price below $1K this absolutely a must have for anyone considering a Float. The belt alone seems to be missing a 3rd suspension (anchor) point that stabilizes the entire rig. In my case the rig is a DJI Ronin 4D with the optional gimbal counterweight and a few heavy Sony GM primes like the 50 mm/f1.2. I do need the Float for longer shooting scenarios but could not wear it until the shoulder support arrived. The overall weight placed too much pressure on my abdomen to a degree where i could barely breathe. Seriously for the price of $70 or less is a rounding error considering the $1K base price for this Float version. The only thing I wish it would ship with is an optional safety strap that could be attached to the camera and the shoulder strap attachment points. That would be very useful considering the single-screw mount the Tilta adapter uses to secure the camera to the Float arm. 5

[6.295 lb] I bought this to use with my new Panasonci HC-X1 camera. Easy to set up and use, this is great for ENG/Run and Gun shooting. This makes it easy to stabilize and shoot great video! I would highly recommend this wonderful tool. 5

[6.295 lb] I've used the ribbon once at a Bat-Mitzva party I shot, it was a pleasure to work with such a dynamic and (relatively )light shoulder mount. It was easy to use and still gives you the comfortness of a small cam. Only issues I had were: the camera was far from my eye, even after panning the vf towards me, got over that be turning the quick release 180 degrees and pulling it even more back than offered. Secondly, you can't just pay the mount on the ground, there's now way to stabilize it on the ground. Just lean it(scary). 5

[6.295 lb] even though I thought that the pricing is a little on the expensive side I am pleasantly surprised with my new Chrosziel shoulder support for my FX6. I am able to mount the camera in three different positions, the shoulder pad is easy to adjust, comfy and easy to slide back and forth. looks like you can also add a rear rod support which I haven't purchased yet but will def get it 5
