[1] I needed a power supply for a musical-instrument device that I bought used. This power supply met all the technical requirements (and its price was much lower than elsewhere), except that its plug had an incorrect center-pin diameter (I wish the listings for such devices included that spec; they seldom do). Luckily I had a power supply with the right plug that I don't need; I spliced that power supply's cable onto this one since I have the necessary tools and skills. It's now doing the job! 5
