Mount your cameras or other devices to any Edge HD Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (SCT) using the Baader Ultrashort SCT T-Adapter Matte Blackfrom Alpine Astronomical. This ultrashort (0.28" / 7mm optical path) knurled adapter ring features one 2"-diameter female thread with a 1/24" pitch for mating with your telescope's output and a standard T-2 male (M42 x 0.75) thread for connecting your viewing or photo equipment.

[1.3" / 38.0 g] When I remove a camera from the telescope the scope is open for dust to get inside. I was using a baggie to cover the end but that's not really a good solution. This T-2 cap it perfectly and provides an easy to use seal protecting against dust intrusion. 5

[0.1 lb] This well-designed bino tripod adapter is something I wouldn't have thought to purchase but when I read it was available for use with my Nikon 10X50's I didn't hesitate to add it to my order. What I like about using a tripod with binos are that it frees my hands for note-taking and also allows me to share with other birders a best close-up view without having to pass the 10X50's around to others which is tricky and time-consuming while each person focuses. Especially, if I am working with children it allows them to easily see interesting sights without hassle. 5

Talked to camera support and the this is the ring I needed for scope to work with my Canon. From preliminary testing, works great and now to see just how good it can be.
