Patterns, or gobos, are widely used by designers in theatre, film, photography and television to create atmosphere, project scenery, and generally enhance the visual impact of their lighting.

Conceived by some of the world's leading lighting designers, the Rosco range presently includes hundreds of standard steel gobo designs.

To insure design integrity the patterns are etched using a precise double-sided process on stainless steel. The result is durable, high quality patterns which will withstand the extreme heat at the gate of ellipsoidal spotlights.

Q: 1. I used two old AF lenses on a Sony A-mount body: - Sony Alpha 18-70 mm F3.5-5.6 - Minolta Maxxum 50mm F1.7 ...can I used those lenses on a recent Sony E-mount body camera like the a6400?

A: Yes, with the proper adapter, A-E mount adapter.

Q: 2. Will it also work on a Nikon F mount that is not a G lens?

A: Yes, it will work with a Nikon non G lens.

Q: 3. does this adapter works with a6500? i have 2 lenses which works excellent on a350 but theyt are not compatible with a6500, i wanna ask if this adaptor works in this situation? btw adaptor name is {FotodioX Mount Adapter with Aperture Control Dial for Sony A-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera}. both lenses are i) sony 18-70mm ii) sony 70-300mm.

A: The Sony Alpha a350 DSLR camera uses the older, larger Sony A-mount/Minolta MAXXUM lens mount. The Sony Alpha a6500 Mirrorless Digital Camera uses the smaller E-mount lens mount. You may purchase the FotodioX Mount Adapter with Aperture Control Dial for Sony A-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera, B&H # FOSNYASNYE, to connect your Sony A-mount lens to the Sony a6500 Mirrorless Digital Camera. However, do note that this is a fully manual adapter, so you will not have autofocus capability with the lens, and does not support lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body. If you need autofocus, the Sony A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter (Black), B&H # SOLAEA3, should work for your usage needs.

Q: 4. How does this control the aperture on G lenses since there are no physical switches on those lenses? Or... does it have an independent aperture?

A: The adapter's blue dial allows you to manually control the lens's aperture. That control is built in to the adapter.

Q: 5. I see it focuses to infinity, but the lenses I want to hang onto are both macro. Would I be able to use the macro focus on the lenses? I don't mind manual focus as I did this with my macros on my nikon d750. Also will the adapter work with my Samyang 14mm with the nikon f- mount?

A: Yes, this adapter the Vello Nikon F-Mount G Lens to FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera Lens Adapter with Aperture Control will work with most manual F mount lenses. And with AF-S G lenses.

Q: 6. Does the lens use a lens board and if so which one?

A: The Cambo Rodenstock HR Digaron-W 32mm f/4 Aperture Body Lens can be attached to a zero lens board. It can also be attached to a lens panel and used on a Cambo WRS/WDS camera with digital backs activated by electronic shutter. We list that lens with the lens panel in this link. https://bhpho.to/3282voG

Q: 7. Can I mount this to the Aperture LS 600d ?

A: Yes, the FotodioX Universal Gobo is based on a Bowens mount system and will mount to the aperture LS600d.

Q: 8. Is it compatible these lens Sigma10-20EX DG, nikon50f1.4D,85f1.8D,Ais 55 macrof3.5,Ai lens? My camera is sony a7IV.

A: Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM Lens for Nikon F B&H # SI102035SN MFR # 202306 will work with the Nikon F mount G to Sony E adapter but it will not cover the sensor of your a7IV.

Q: 9. Will this work with the Zeiss 100 f2 ZF macro planar on a Fuji xpro 3?

A: The Metabones Nikon F Lens to FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera T Adapter (Black), BH # MEBNFXBT1 would be better since the Zeiss Milvus and Otus 100mm f/2 lenses both have built in aperture rings.

Q: 10. Can I use this with a Nikon d-7100 body?

A: No, one cannot use the FotodioX Nikon F-Mount Pro Lens Adapter with Aperture Control for Nikon 1 Cameras on a Nikon D7100 body.

[Aperture 1] I use the gobo as a background image. I like the contrast in the image that it projects. You have to be careful with it, since it is thin and could catch on the holder when removing it from the gobo holder.
