[10 mm] I was between 10x and 8x on a budget set of binoculars. I had a set of 10x25mm that were in a similar price range, but the smaller magnification had a clearer image because the lower mag is easier to focus with. The compact size makes this easy to take around the city, to games, and on hikes. Great little carrying case and strap. The lenses are high quality. I spent about 45 minutes in the store trying 5 different binoculars, and settled on these for the value--the lenses are so clear and the whole case seems very sturdy compared to others that I tried. 5

[Roof] I wanted a reasonably compact spotting scope for using at the range. This thing works great for that purpose. It has a quality bag to haul it back and forth and protect it when not in use. The image quality is clear and the construction of the unit seems robust. No complaints at all. 5
