The medium, black DPA 4088 Directional Headset Microphone LEMO Connectorfrom DPA 4088 Directional Headset Microphone LEMO Connectoris designed for theater and broadcast applications. The Core 4088 microphone delivers a 14 dB increase in both THD (total harmonic distortion) and dynamic range, which improves clarity and openness more than the previous Legacy model. The headworn cardioid microphone is a dual-ear design that can be worn on either ear and used for various performing talent applications. Its small, 0.25" diameter allows for discreet use while its 0.5-ounce body allows for comfort while being worn. In addition, a foam windscreen, makeup cover, clothing clip, and a pop screen are also included.

I haven't had the microphone that long, nor have I used it that much to be able to tell you how long the battery lasts. The good thing about the microphone is that it has a wind screen that helps minimize wind noise on the microphone.

[Black] The headset is very comfortable and easy adjust. The mic itself sounds really good. Great tone and a great presence in the room!! We were using a DPA headset and were having problems getting it to stay in the position we needed which lead to problems with tone and eq and gain. We went to a cheaper Galaxy Audio headset while we waited for this mic and I’m glad we waited. This mic is a game changer!! 5

[Cardioid] I have been using the single ear version for years, but recently wanted to give the double ear version a try. After receiving these two, I have to say I cannot believe I waited so long to go dual ear. There is literally zero movement of mic when wearing it. No more bending the mic or using medical tape to hold it on the face (yuck!). Fantastic mic and I love the dual ear version. 5

[Black] We had to wait for these because they were on back order. Worth it! The dual ear makes the wearer feel very confident. The mic does not move, and the wearer does not need to touch or adjust it. We are very pleased with the result. 5
