Use the Easyrig Umbrella Holder for Easyrig Systemsto keep rain off your camera operator and your Easyrig-mounted camera. This 51.2" wide, 32.7" long umbrella can also be used as a sun shield on daylight exterior shoots.

The Umbrella mounts on the upper arm of your Easyrig and its holder sports 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for attaching accessories. The holder also incorporates a hole for mounting a lighting stud, enabling you to add an Obie light or a work light to the rig.

A: The Easyrig Minimax with Quick Release must be stored in a tension released fashion to stay working properly over time.

A: No it is not compatible with the Easyrig Minimax.

Q: 5. How do you install this on the minimax vest? I cannot find any installation guide on the internet and none is included.

A: To install the Easyrig Side Pouch for Minimax first pull apart the support bracket. Then feed the pouch along the waist strap, and over the bracket.

Q: 6. For anyone who's installed this, how do you 'pull apart the support bracket'? Via the bolt at the bottom? It just keeps turning.

A: The Easyrig Support bracket is two pieces. A metal bar attached to the upper left or right back if the vest and a bottom support tube [the part with the screw] on the waist of the vest. Push the bar up and out of the tube to create an way for the pocket to slide over the vests waist band to work with the Easyrig Side Pouch for Minimax System.

Q: 7. How big a lens fits the pouch?

A: The Easyrig Side Pouch for Minimax System offers dimensions of 3.93 inches wide and 8.87 inches deep. The product is designed in a way so the lens can stick out of the bag but be held in place and protected by the padded flap.

Q: 8. Will this umbrella fit on the EasyRig MiniMax Stabil LIGHT?

A: It is our understanding the Easyrig Umbrella with Holder for Minimax will work with the Easyrig Minimax STABIL Light Gimbal/Camera Support System.

[2 lb] Love it. It took 2 minutes to install and I was shooting on a farm in a downpour while keeping my C500 dry and my mind at ease about it. Still had some light water drops collect on the front of the lens from wind but lens fogging and droplet collection is pretty expected. It allowed me to get shots in weather that I normally would shy away from. 5

[2 lb] I love this easyrig, have had it out on several shoots now and can say confidently it's an outstanding piece of equipment. Saves my back, hands and arms from fatigue and potential injury. The quick release works perfect and inspires confidence with an audible snap-in when it secures, seems bulletproof to me. This is perfect for on-the-go filming situations when time is at a premium, and helps create a nice tamed natural hand-held look when handled correctly. One observation I've had is this becomes pretty difficult to manage in a high wind situation when shooting outdoors, as the pole gets blown around and you really have to fight the jerking/swaying it creates. Otherwise, no significant qualms and I'm glad to have finally picked this up! 5
