The brown DPA Microphones Core 4288 Directional Flex Earset Micfrom DPA Microphones Core 4288 Directional Flex Earset Miccombines the sound of the 4088 directional capsule and Core amplifier in a lightweight and flexible one-ear earset. It can be used when miking needs to be fast and easy, and where the person wearing the microphone will barely feel the presence of it; such as in conference, speech, and active live performance applications.

The cardioid polar-patterned Core 4288 offers a 4 dB increase in dynamic range and a 14 dB decrease in THD (total harmonic distortion) over the Legacy version and is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably. It easily adjusts to fit any ear size and head shape, while at the same time, it mounts securely and is hardly visible. By rotating the boom and the ear hook, the microphone can be used on either the left or the right ear. In addition, the connector splits the cable from the microphone boom allowing you to swap broken cables and/or transmitter connectors quickly. Finally, it includes a makeup cover, four windscreens, and a pop screen.

Q: 3. Does this support Huawei phones???pls give me an answer.

A: any phone jack port that has audio and mic which is almost all will work. it has a port or listening in the rears you may want to take advantage of listening as you record because its a directional focus mic you loose a lot of noise near you.

Q: 4. Can work with rode wireless pro?

Q: 5. Do the DPA 4099s come with a carrying case, and if so what does one look like?

A: The DPA Core 4099 do not come with a case.

Q: 6. Can this mic be used with Zoom or FaceTime for live-streaming a wedding? Also how far (distance wise) can this mic be setup to pickup good audio of the priest & couple?

A: No, unfortunately the VideoMic Me does not work for livestreaming.through Zoom or FaceTime on the iPhone. According to Apple, external mics do not work with iOS for video conferencing apps, although they can be used with iOS for telephone-type apps without video. For live video streaming on the iPhone, only the built-in mic will work. However, you can use the VideoMic Me for recording audio with video on the iPhone. The mic is designed to be a "selfie" style mic and will pick up audio from up to approximately 12 feet away, depending on the environment.

Q: 7. Most demonstrations of the Rode VideoMic Me emphasize audio for closeups--either selfies or interviews. How will the mic work at greater distance from the sound source--10 feet, for example?

A: Just like any other mic, John. Camera mounted mics, boom mics...any mics sound better when you are closer and worse when you are further away. The Rode video mic does have an interference tube to help block out sound from the side, which does help. It's WAY better than the little pinhole mic in the phone. When I get further away, I use a lavalier mic. I do have a long cord, but I prefer to plug the lavalier into a small Zoom audio recorder, which fits in the pocket. Then I snyc up the sound in post. Otherwise, I keep my subject close up.

Q: 8. How long will this mic be on backorder?

A: Expected availability: May 23 2016

Q: 9. Can you use the lavalier mode and connect it to an iPhone so you can use a lavalier to record audio on the iPhone?

A: Yes, the Tula Mic by Tula Microphones can be used in LAV mode with a separate lavalier microphone to record audio on an iPhone.

Q: 10. Will it fit on a galaxy s6 active

A: Yes

[5 to 50 V] We have used this particular mic for years, and the sound is very good without feedback.

[Brown] This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape.
