This Westcott Rapid Box Switch for Hensel Expert Flash Headsis one of thirteen all-metal inserts available for different brands of flash heads. Instead of using a full dedicated speedring, this insert slides quickly into your Switch's rear tabs and secures in place with the Switch's thumb lock.

A: This insert is strictly for the Rapid Box Switch series beauty dish and softboxes. It will not work on the older Westcott Rapid Box which had fixed rings based on the strobe brand.

[0.1 lb] I purchased this with the hope that it would work with my older Joel Grimes Beauty Dish that had a permanent Bowens mount. I had recently upgraded to ProFoto from some older monolights. It worked! The fit is perfect. One simply has to remove four screws and nuts and pull the old one out and then place this one back. One should have a modicum of skill using small hand tools. It seems as if Westcott has replaced the permanent screw mount with a quick release mechanism now. Smart move, as many folk like me have more than one lighting brand. The item itself is sturdy and well built. Same can be said for the Westcott modifiers, so I'm glad I can continue to use this one. 5

[Metal] Works well. The only issue is making sure it is properly seated so it doesn't slide out once you mount the modifier on your light. Only used it twice so far but happy 5

[Metal] The interchangeable mounts are an equally well made match for the respective platforms, and we purchased Quadra and Bowens/Godox for our two main mobile strobe systems. We had been seen the smaller Aputure Lantern on the Godox AD200s with OEM adapters, and now we are using the Westcott as the size is better on pole for outdoor, and the size is better for closer space indoors. We particularly like the adapter inserts and how positive the system locks together, and this matches the sewing and details with the lantern itself. Another exceptional Westcott product. 5
