A: No that we are aware of. This bracket is specifically for the A7RIII and A9, which have a different design from the older A7RII.

Q: 2. Can the L Bracket be installed the other way, with the "L" part going over the Card Slot Opening of the Camera?

A: No, it only fits one way.

Q: 3. WILL THIS L BRACKET ATTACH TO A MANFROTTO HEAD?

A: No it wont. I have used a Desmond DAC-60 QR clamp mounted on the Manfrotto plate. This allowed me to use my Manfrotto tripod with this L-bracket. You can find these clamps for about $30.

Q: 4. Will it fit with battery grip?

A: The Sunwayfoto Custom L-Bracket for Sony A7 III, A7R III and A9 can only fit those particular Sony bodies without a battery grip attached.

Q: 5. Will this work with the sONY a99ii?

A: We're afraid not. This is a form fitting cage for the Sony A7III, A7RIII and A9 cameras. It will not for the A99II, which is a DSLR camera that has a different body type. A: This cage is designed in mind to Sony bodies with a different form factor than the Sony a7ii and is not compatible.

A: The Sunwayfoto Custom L-bracket for Sony A7III/A7RIII/A9 is not recommended for the A7IV due to the differences in body and LCD screen.

Q: 9. Will this work on the new a7riv?

A: I use the Zacuto cage on my Sony A7SII, but the anchors for the camera strap eyes do not line up. You can only attach the bottom 1/4 20 screw to the cage. I find that sufficient.

[Tripod socket] I have one camera with the outrageously expensive RRS-L bracket and one with this Sunywayfoto L-bracket. I found that the Sunwayfoto has a better design for my needs. It is easier to tether with this head then the RRS. And much easier to remove and replace the camera's batteries. Highly recommend saving your money and buy this L-Bracket. 5

[0.345 lb] The L bracket is essential for a photographer's convenience allowing vertical and horizontal orientation. It makes it so convenient just to flip the camera on the ball head. At a moderate price, this is a no brainer. 5

[0.345 lb] It took me a while to find a case that would work, so I wanted to share. I have a Sony ZV-1 that has a full SmallRig cage on it. I was looking for a soft case I could put the camera in and just toss it in another bag without having to take the cage off. This works. It's a little roomy, but not outrageously so. And it beats other cases that are marketed as being for the ZV-1, but where the camera barely fits, let alone the cage. Hope this helps. 5
