[Latch] This light was more than I imagined it would be. It looks great, and the light is bright for a smaller location (house, small gym).

If you are planning on using it without DMX, keep in mind that you basically have two options: you can set the light on one non-moving setting, or you can set it to demo mode where it goes crazy with different colors, movement, and such. The demo mode is fun, but if you maybe want everything but the strobe light you don't have that option to turn off strobe. So if you are looking for some fun to spice up a DJ setup, go for it. However, it seems like if you have a DMX setup you can really take advantage of all the settings.

[Latch] I was surprised when I got these to discover there is a gasket of sorts on the fixture side that greatly helps reduce light leaks, especially if used in the closest gel frame slot. They feel well constructed and I am looking forward to many years of use with these.

[Fixed Dividers] Needed a good ellipsoidal for field video work but didn't want to shell out big $ for it. This was the perfect fit. Plenty of punch, and it comes with a zoom lens so I can scale the pattern to fit the background properly. Love it! It's got a little bit of fan noise, but hasn't been a problem yet.

[Fixed Dividers] We bought 6 Spot 260s and for the $$, we definitely got a great product. These lights are everything they are said to be.
Bright, On Point Colors, Speed, Responsiveness, etc.
I would definitely recommend these to any small Venue wanting some great lights.

[Black] I write Timelines in Chauvet Showxpress in which I play my drums along to a song with a full blown lightshow in sync with the song. (yes my kids make fun of me. Call it my 2nd midlife crisis).



I have currently 4 Thin tri-pars and 2 ADJ Moving spots. Along with an old Moonbeam for special effects. I added in the Scorpion Dual Beam laser to one song so far. It totally rocks, as it streams above the drumset and audience (yes some brave folk come by to watch occasionally). A great addition. Its really bright, and really pops with smoke/fog. I had to learn some DMX tricks in the SW for smooth transitions. (use the square wave transitions, not the smoothing one and it will work properly). I think you will love it. Practice laser safety please.
