[3.1 lb] I'd bought the Savage Port-a-Stand awhile back and had only the shorter cross bar that came with it. I'd been wanting to use wider backdrops on occasion but figured that I'd need a whole new stand for that. Instead, I found and bought this bar, and it works perfectly with my existing side pieces. When it's not in use, it slides in on itself and is the same size as the original bar, so it's no harder to store, either. 5

[3.1 lb] Bought an additional cross bar in order to link two Port-A-Stand systems into a three panel background for larger group shoots. I snip the seams off the ends of the top hem of a king size flat sheet and slide the cross bar through. Simple, cheap, easy and various colors are available. about $ per panel.Of course, this product simply works as expected. Spans 130 between two verticle stands and does the job expected of it. 5

[3.1 lb] Easy to deploy. Fast to break down. Holds any background without an issue. You can trust this background stand. Add some sand bags to your order to help stabilize it. This is not a weakness in this product, but something that you should have for any background stand.....and buy some gaffers tape while you are at it! Love that it comes with a bag because it makes toting this thing to location easier. 5

[Black] This stand is of great quality and doesn't feel like it will topple over. The metal feels sturdy and not too thing where you feel like it will break easily. Works perfectly with Savage Seamless paper 5
