Q: 1. if i just buy 787 dollar of Megavox 2 can i have it connect to my android phone and play music or announcements? or do i have to get aux cable and connect phone to the Megavox 2 to play it? and also how long does this speaker last on full volume?

A: This will connect to your phone via bluetooth with no wire needed. Anchor claims a battery life of six to eight hours.

Q: 2. this will be great for a speech in big room of 5000-7000 sq. ft.?

A: No, the Polsen PA-5150BT 5" 150W Portable PA System is not suitable for use as a PA system for a large room. It is intended for use in small venues or as a personal stage monitor. For a large room, you will want to have a more powerful speaker system or one with multiple speakers to disperse the sound to the audience. As a better option, I would recommend using a system like the Fender Passport Venue Series 2 Portable Powered PA System (B&H # FEPASVENUS2).

Q: 3. Can Yamaha Stagepas 400BT be connected to a Yamaha CBR10 (passive) speaker?

A: Yes, you can use the Yamaha CBR10 Portable 2-Way 10" 700W Passive Loudspeaker with the Yamaha STAGEPAS 400BT Portable 8-Channel PA System. You can connect the CBR10 speakers to the 1/4" main outputs or to the 1/4" monitor outputs on the STAGEPAS mixer.

Q: 4. Does this come with a cable for the mic?

A: yes, the mic comes with a 16.4' XLR Cable

Q: 5. Can you daisy chain more than 2?

A: Yes you can daisy chain more than 2 Polsen PA-5150BT units together.

Q: 6. Does acoustic guitar plug directly into this?

A: Yes. The Polsen PA-5150BT 5" 150W Portable PA System has a switch to select "Instrument" or "Mic/Line." When "Instrument" is selected, the "Mic/Line 1" input becomes an instrument input, allowing you to plug in the guitar without the need for a direct box.

Q: 7. does this mini vox have a battery pack that can be purchased?

A: The Anchor Audio Lite-BP MiniVox Lite operates on 10 AA batteries and Recharge kit is included with this particular unit. The Recharge kit ships with 10 rechargeable batteries and AC adapter. The RC-30 recharge kit is also available separately. See http://bhpho.to/1BCBJPq

Q: 8. Can I set the mono monitor levels? I want to record out of the speaker.

A: Yes you can just use the 1/4" mono out to monitor.

Q: 9. Can this PA system provide phantom power to the MIC/Line inputs to allow using condenser mics that require power?

A: Yes the Polsen PA-5150BT has a phantom power button for compatibility with condenser microphones.

Q: 10. Can I connect Yamaha CBR10 together with the Yamaha StagePas 400BT (i.e., all 3 speakers at the same time)? If so, how?

A: The Yamaha CBR10 Portable 2-Way 10" 700W Passive Loudspeaker (B&H # YACBR10) is not compatible for direct connection to the Yamaha STAGEPAS 400BT Portable 8-Channel PA System because it is a passive speaker. You will need to use a separate power amp to power the CBR-10 and then you can connect the left (mono) 1/4" Monitor Output jack on the STAGEPAS mixer to the input on the power amp. Otherwise, you can use a powered speaker instead of the CBR10, such as the Yamaha DBR10- 10" 2-Way Powered Loudspeaker (B&H # YADBR10) or the Alto Professional TX310 350W 2-Way Powered Loudspeaker (B&H # ALTX310), which can be connected directly to the mixer's Monitor Output jacks.

[1.9 GHz] I generally play with one other person through this, but occasionally we get guests who either sing or need to plug an instrument in. This can accommodate all of us and we use the BT400 not the 600. We use a Mackie thump speaker out of the subwoofer port which helps with fullness of the sound, not that it's bad to begin with. The only amp we used to bring along with our old PA was the bass amp but don't even need that anymore. Awesome sounding, portable and all the basic functionality you would need for a two or three person crew. The portability is awesome, we only use when when we play out as we have a dinosaur Peavy PA for practice that stays where it is. I use this Yamaha as speakers for my computer if I know we have a lot of time between gigs. Awesome for just playing music or trying karaoke at home too. If you're going to be playing a passive instrument through channels 5-8, you're going to want a booster.

[19 VDC] We got this system to replace a Fender portable 150 Watt PA. The new Fenders lack controls. This thing has more inputs, much better controls and the sound is outstanding. The people watching on our internet broadcast noted immediately that the sound was much crisper and clear. The speakers are heavy but really good sound.
