The Roland KD-10 Kick Pad | Compact Drum Trigger Padis a low-noise electronic kick drum pad, well suited for V-drum series kits. The pad provides a great acoustic kick-drum feel, but with much less noise due to its rubber covered cushion. The pad is compatible with most optional single and double pedals. The Roland KD-10 is built tough, easy to set up, and includes a connection cable.

A: This kick drum pedal trigger is made for Roland V-Drums, but can work as a trigger for Alesis electric drums.

Q: 8. Does the logo on this mouse pad have an oval? The original one has an oval and uses real gel, the new one uses foam and is uncomfortable.

A: As per the manufacturer this uses foam.

Q: 9. would this work on a practice pad with a metal rim- such as a Sabian Quiet Tone?

A: The Sabian Quiet Tone uses a real drum head with a real hoop that's made of metal, so the RT-30HR drum trigger should work since it can be installed on nearly any metal drum hoop.

A: Yes, the Roland KD-10 Kick Pad can be used with the Roland TD-30.

[3.3 lb / 1.5 kg] This is the best Drum Pad Ive ever seen or used. Simplicity makes it great....no menu (no aggravation)...reverb/distortion, volume, tuning, and selection knobs...and a little button that will give you an alternate sound to each setting. Its almost like analog and fun to use...and its currently not all that expensive. A mono output on the back panel and a stereo headphones out - also on the back panel - (which I use to connect to a mixer with a 1/4 TRS to Double !/4 TRS Cable). It solves a lot of percussion problems - if you lack a drummer at times or all the time. 5

[3.3 lb / 1.5 kg] The only Roland trigger pad that was developed in the early 90's and still being sold today - and for good reason. The rock solid design, the impeccable tracking, and feel just can't be beat - even 20 years later. Leave it to B&H to sell it at price point others can't even touch. 5

[9.655 lb] Before buying the kd7 I bought the pintech ergokik and the kat percussion kick trigger. Both broke within a month. Not only has the kd7 lasted longer than both of those,the build quality is much better,and the triggering is much smoother and consistent. Don't waste time with the others. The Roland is a bit more money but definitely worth the extra expense. 5

[1 head] I use this unit with an old beat up td5 as my second kick mixed into the first. Came with the reverse beater (not the pedal in case you are readin this) and was readily adaptable to any pedal. Seriously happy with it, NO ISSUES! 5

[3.3 lb / 1.5 kg] I've used an S&S Industries kick trigger with my DW5000 since 1996. The KD-7 was very easy to attach to my DW Pedal, plays just like my S&S, has wonderful sensitivity and sounds great with my TD-5 brain. 5
