With 400W of rated output power driving five 8" neodymium woofers and a neodymium compression driver to produce 130 dB SPL, it is designed to deliver versatile and powerful amplification for crowds of up to 5000 people in sports venues, educational facilities, and various indoor and outdoor events.

The built-in Bluetooth receiver allows streaming of music from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Q: 1. How much does the L1 PRO 16 bass speaker weigh?

Q: 2. Any difference in clarity of sound and output between the AN-MiniU2 and the Anchor Audio AN-135+ 30? Watt Speaker Monitor (Black)

A: Indeed there is. TheAnchor Audio AN-135+ will get louder with a wider frequency response. it is better for music.

Q: 3. Two questions: does this unit have a volume control and can one use a headset mic, if so which one would be recommended?

A: This unit does have a volume control. The mic that comes with it is handheld and it looks like it has a standard-looking jack, so I don't see why you couldn't swap out the mic they provided with one of your own.

Q: 4. My Zoom H2N Handy Recorder will save and play files on the SDHC card while it is in the recorder. If I place the SDHC card into a USB adaptor and plug into my computer to save the files, my computer won't read the files on the card. It does fine with a SD card, but not the SDHC. Why can't I use the SDHC card?

A: SD cards are based on the much older MMC format. The SDHC format isn't backward-compatible.Computers that don't specifically support SDHC won't recognize SDHC memory cards, and can't be updated to recognize SDHC cards. My understanding is that you'll need to acquire a newer computer to read the SDHC format. And don't forget, we now have SDXC-formatted cards, for 64GB, 128GB and 256GB SD cards.Bes regards

Q: 5. If you use the 3.5mm input jack does it disable the stereo mics? Or, can you use all the channels at once?

[130 dB] I have been using the L1s for well over a decade, around the building in spaces large and small, and outside for gatherings of all sizes. The brilliance of this speaker in delivering consistent sound to people anywhere in the room is hard to capture in words, other than 'magic'! This new version manages to pack the same robust sound into just 8 speakers, seriously reducing the footprint of the previous model, as well as solving some of my issues with blocking the bottom set of speakers with a chair on the previous model. The wireless capabilities are taking the old remote control onto a new level, and I am very excited about bluetooth addition.

[902 to 928 MHz] Our museum purchased another unit that was really nothing more than a toy. The speaker was mostly for testing the waters with our tour guides; unfortunately the bad sound, uncomfortable headset, and low volume, really turned them off to the whole idea. We spent the extra money and purchased the MiniVox Lite and could not be happier. This little guy really packs a wallop and sounds great, making it not only ideal for our tour guides, but also as an ad-hoc PA system for outdoor events. Thanks Anchor, thanks B&H.

[+12 V] I am a starter for track and field events and have used the portable PA in starting meets. I have not had it long, but it works well, seems well built and is easy to bungee to my starting stand with the case it comes in. Excellent product.

[130 dB] Clarity and powerful. I watched a few reviews on the Bose L1 16 Pro. I picked up one and absolutely love it. You can pump this speaker at full power and no distortion. I'm so impressed with the speaker I plan to buy another one in the future.
