The protective module for the viewfinder connection is another smart feature..Flexibility in mounting accessories is another great characteristic of the product. It generally does everything it's supposed to well.

After using one on a short film in 2015, I decided to purchase this system from Chrosziel. I'm very happy with it so far. Chrosziel is a small company and they are dedicated to customer service. After offering a few suggestions, I saw them implemented almost immediately. The device works as a focus puller would expect. The system is compatible with a wide variety of motors and uses Lemo connectors. It is compatible with Preston motors if you already own those. I have two handsets and send control of the iris to the 2nd handset for the DP. Firmware updates are downloaded from the website and easy to install via a USB stick. If you purchase the option to include the zoom rocker to control the third channel, you won't be disappointed. Together with the software soft stop, performing an on camera zoom while pulling focus is easy. My favorite function of this unit are the 4 programmable user buttons. I expand my stop and focus scale often and with the programmable user buttons, I can set them, cancel them and then recall them.

[0.13 lb] I was pleasantly surprised to find that the EVF Cable Protector was so flush with the WC Top Plate and added virtually no height, which I found frustrating to the overall form factor of the camera with the competing Arri Top Plate that the camera shipped with. While I haven't been incredibly happy with the quality control from previous WC purchases, I've found the F5's WC accessories to be some of the best and most durable available for slimming down what can become an extremely cumbersome setup.

[0.13 lb] I am using this without a top plate, which apparently you can use with or without. It fits perfect, is not excessive in size, and perfectly protects the cable without making it harder to remove!

[5-pin LEMO 0B] The Cage Kit has everything I was looking for and more. I wanted a rig that had 15mm rod adapters for my matt box and follow focus. I also wanted to be able to mount a monitor and a light, the multiple 1/4-20 and 3/8 threaded holes will provide many configurations. The ablility to go hand held, and easily mount the camera using my quick release wedge plate, was the feature that sold me.The assembly was easy, and the camera still fit into the supplied hard shell case with minor adjustments.This is the perfect complement to my new camera, I will recommend this to everyone as a solid, smart purchase.
