This 4 x 5.65" LEE Filters ProGlass CINE IRND Kit 4x5.65from LEE Filters ProGlass CINE IRND Kit 4x5.65is an ND filter with a 2x filter factor that provides a 1-stop exposure reduction. Its 0.3 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to record or photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters are intended to not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
The design of this filter has been optimized for use with digital sensors and to promote nearly flat attenuation of visible and infrared light. Due to imaging sensors' greater susceptibility to infrared light, compared to traditional film, color casts can occur when photographing darker subjects that require increased exposure times.
This 4 x 5.65" ProGlass CINE IRND 0.3 Filter is constructed from scratch-resistant, optical glass with a metallic, black rim. The glass provides increased clarity as well as color fidelity while the black rim further ensures that reflections do not occur along the filter's edge.

Q: 1. What is the difference between the versatile ND and polarizing filter kit and the circular polarizer filter? This set has both.
A: The versatile ND consists of 4 types of ND filters which are listed in the description: Soft-Edge Graduated ND 0.6 FilterHard-Edge Graduated ND 0.6 FilterHard-Edge Graduated ND 0.9 FilterBig Stopper ND 3.0 FilterThese filter can be used to adjust the scene lighting, e.g. darken a bright sky (the graduated ND filters) or simply allow for a darkening of the whole scene (big stopper ND) for when one like to set a longer exposure time with the same lens aperture. Up to two of these filters can be used in the holder at the same time, so one can create versatile filtering effects. The Circular Polarizer filter is a separate entity and attaches to the outer side of the filter holder and therefore can be used alone with no ND filters present or with any combination of two of the ND filters. The polarizer may be used to control (reduce or enhance) reflections off surfaces (e.g. water, glass) or to control reflection in the sky allowing one to brighten or darken the sky. This kit is very versatile and I have not yet needed to buy any additional filters get the lighting effects I have wanted. In my view there is one short coming of this system: light can come in between the each of filters and the filters and the lens when one is facing the light source (e.g. the sun), this can introduce some strange (and undesired) lighting effects. Though this short coming can be managed if the light is blocked from entering the spaces between the filters. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and functionality of this kit.
Q: 2. Do the Lee Seven5 filters have a different degree of hard and graduated transition from the full size Lee filters? Or, is it just the physical size of the Seven5's that is different? The reason I'm asking is that I have the full Lee kit in 100mm filters that I use with my Fuji system. It works fine. Is there any advantage/difference other than physical size?
A: I use the 100mm and Seven5 Lee grads, on full-frame DSLR and compact Four-Thirds cameras respectively. Comparing the 100mm and Seven5 grads side by side, I see that the Seven5 filters are not just the 100mm grads cut to a different size. Rather, the Seven5 filters are fully scaled down, both the size and the graduation pattern, to be appropriate to the smaller lenses that they'll typically be used on. So, comparing the fade zone in the graduation in the two filters in say 0.6 Soft specification, you see that the Seven5 fade zone is shorter than in the 100mm filters. In this way, presumably you should get a similar graduation effect in your images with both the larger lenses you'll typically be using with the 100mm filters, and the smaller lenses you'll typically be using with the Seven5 filters. This matches with my experience with the two systems.
Q: 3. Is this compatible with the SW150 original (Mark 1) system?
A: Yes. My original shield got lost quickly. Just never wanted to stay in. This one seems a little more snug to stay without falling at the slightest bump
Q: 4. can it be used with 10-18mm or a 18-135mm 67mm lens on a canon 7d?
A: The LEE Filters Seven5 Deluxe Kit is designed for use on compact interchangeable lens cameras, such as mirrorless cameras. However, as the LEE Filters Seven5 system has filter rings for lenses between 37mm-72mm (along with a few custom rings for certain mirrorless digital cameras), you may purchase the correct adapter ring for use on your lenses. If you are referring to the Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens and the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens (which has a 67mm filter thread), the LEE Filters 67mm Seven5 Adapter Ring, B&H # LEARS567, would be the correct adapter ring for your stated needs.
Q: 5. Cn I use this on Leica e60 lens?
A: Yes, you can use the LEE Filters 60mm Adapter Ring for Foundation Kit on a Leica lens that has a 60mm filter thread. The adapter ring is designed to work with the LEE Filters Foundation Kit (BH #LEFK).
Q: 6. The product foto and specs make clear that the kit includes lenses and a holder, but no protective cases or storage pouches for protection or transport. A customer foto submitted in the reviews shows protective cases and pouches. Im confused. Does the kit come with protective cases or do I buy these separately?
A: My kit came with a soft blue cloth cover that fits all the filters and folds. Easy to put in camera bag or pocket or whatever. The polarizer did come with a padded case. I did buy an extra filter carrier from B+ W for extra protection. If you are concerned I would buy an extra case. Perhaps call up and see what B H recommends.
Q: 7. Is the Lee Seven Five System compatible with the Lee Wide Angle Compendium?
A: No, these are different systems. The Lee Wide Angle Compendium hood has a filter holder (two slots) for 4 X 4 filters (100mm square). The Seven-6 system holds filters which are 75 X 90 mm. Lee Filters makes a hood specifically for the Seven5 system, see below.
Q: 8. Will this fit on a Sigma 20mm Art lens for Nikon?
A: I'm sorry, no, the lens has no filter threads. You will need to get a filter system specifically for this lens. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/38uBbFp
Q: 9. I just purchased a Fuji XT-2 from B&H. Should I go with the 100mm or the Seven5 system. I shoot mostly landscapes. Will I get vignetting using a wide angle lens if I stack a little stopper and a polarizer?
A: I am using the Seven5 system with the Fuji x100t, but that has a fixed 23mm lens. The xt2 can accommodate many different lenses, but the Seven5 should be fine. The 100mm system would be more suitable for wide angle and and ultra wides on a full frame dslr. Check with Lee directly for more details, their customer service is excellent.
Q: 10. Will this fit on my Sigma 24-70 lens?
A: Yes, the Lee 100 Landscape Kit will fit a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Lens by adding the LEE Filters 82mm Wide-Angle Lens Adapter Ring for 100mm System Filter Holder, BH # LEARWA82. https://bhpho.to/3CVvrG1
