The high-bright Autocue Master Series 17" Teleprompter for Video Productionfrom Autocue Master Series 17" Teleprompter for Video Productionoffers easy-to-read prompting for a variety of environments, even outdoors at a reading range up to 20'. The LED backlit Maser Series monitors provide a 70/30 beamsplitter, 1280 x 1024 resolution with 1500 cd/m² brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.

Lightweight and slim, the Master Series prompters feature tool-less adjustment with flexible camera mounting, a dimmable tally light, low power consumption, and hinged frames on the separately available hood options. Use the prompter with the free, downloadable QStart software or pair it with the separately available Autocue QBox v6 or another video scroll engine. Power the teleprompter using the included AC cable or via the 4-pin XLR DC input.

A: The brackets and monitor clamps are included with the MON-PSP/17.

A: No, the MagiCue Glass Beamsplitter for Presidential Series Teleprompter (17") is completely incompatible with the MagiCue Studio 17" teleprompter and made for a presidential teleprompter, not a studio teleprompter.

Q: 10. Why does this Autocue work on Mac with other Autocue accessories don't work with Mac? Strange?

A: Autocue chose to include their software that is compatible with Apple computers with this model. We cant say why they don't include this with their other models. Keep in mind you do not have to use the software that comes with the teleprompter you can always choose to purchase/download Apple compatible software with any of Autocue's teleprompter.

[1000:1] THe teleprompter is an outstanding device for as professional as possible. I used it many times for TV host and for myself. However, there is one thing I must point out, CARE. You must take care of it and you must be careful when moving it should it not be on a stand of its own. It is awkward and sometimes very heavy. Sometimes there are wires that we forget to tie up, such as myself, and yes it went over to break the reflective glass, I was very lucky, $ replaced the glass. So, have fun use it well and yes, there is a lot of work out there for the teleprompter... 5

[4:3] We are a TV station and usually use the higher end teleprompter solutions. However, for this job we needed a cheaper solution for use at one of our remote bureaus. If you need it to talk with a newsroom computer system like iNews this is not for you. If you are OK with exporting from your newsroom system and then loading it into the prompter then this will be fine. The quality of the monitor is low to average but it works fine. The glass and hood are good. A good choice if you need a fairly low coast prompting solution. 5
