$50.97 $75.95

The Korg Pitchclip 2 Clip-On Tuner for Guitars & Bassis a compact clip-on tuner designed to deliver accurate and convenient instrument tuning for musicians in the studio, onstage, or at home. A rubberized grip allows it to securely clamp to your instrument's headstock without marring the finish. The precision piezo pickup facilitates fast tuning and has been optimized to improve sensitivity in low frequencies.

The Pitchclip 2 has +/-1 cent accuracy with a tuning range from A0 to C8. The bright LED display, and a 120° angle adjustment make the screen highly visible, especially in dark music venues. Its Display Reverse mode quickly flips the screen from top to bottom for attaching the tuner to the front or the rear of the headstock, also making it usable to left-handed players. The Pitchclip 2's discreet design makes the tuner almost invisible when mounted on the back of the headstock.

BPM values can be set via tap tempo or two different incremental modes. The tuner has an auto power-off function that conserves the battery by turning the unit off after approximately three minutes of no-note detection. The Pitchclip 2 ships with a CR2032 lithium-ion battery, which provides up to 24 hours of operating time.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are the "keys" touch sensitive?

A: No. They are either on or off.

Q: 2. What's the different between the korg pa300 and the pa600

A: Some of the main differences for the Korg PA300 vs PA600 would be as follows: 5 vs 7 touch screen. No audio outputs/inputs, MIDI via USB only. 310 vs 360 factory styles, Limited sound/drum kit editing functionality, smaller built in amplifier 13 vs 15 watts.

Q: 3. It looks like you can split sounds on the keyboard. Can you also layer the sounds. i.e. layer piano & strings? I see a split control but no dual control.

A: The PA300, all Korg Professional Arrangers, give you three upper sounds and one lower sound, in addition to the backing accompaniment tracks. The three sounds are accessed from the touch screen, and there is a Mute/Play toggle for each. In addition to the Mute/Play toggle, you can also access the volume control for all tracks.

Q: 4. how to hook up ms 20 to sq1?

A: Well, you can1) Connect 5-pin MIDI out of SQ1 into 5-pin MIDI In on MS20. You cannot transpose with the MS20 kbd2) Set Gate Out polarity to negative on SQ1 - read the manual section on global parameter settings for this. Set Channel A to 8V (Hz/v), connect CV-A and Gate-A of SQ1 to VCO 1+2 CV IN and TRIG In on MS20 respectively. You cannot transpose with the MS20 kbd 3) Set Gate out as in 2 above, but set Channel A to 1, 2, or 5V. Connect Gate-A as in 2 above, connect CV-A to TOTAL input on MS20, and adjust the Freq Mod MG/T.EXT until you get correct scaling - eg if SQ1 is set to 1V output, then a pitch knob should change by exactly one octave from fully CCW to fully CW. The MG/T.EXT knob will be in the 7-8 range, but this is very sensitive - a pain to set!. The benefit is that you can now transpose the incoming sequence with the SM20 kbd.

Q: 5. Are the 200 sample memory slots blank when the unit is new? In other words, are these 200 slots *in addition* to the pre-loaded samples that come with the unit?

A: volca sample has an increased memory of 200 memory slots; double its predecessor. 50 are left empty on factory settings so you can load either your own original or pre-made libraries. Pattern locations have also have been increased from 10 to 16. The new generation of volca sample comes with a brand new sound library that has been carefully curated to fit the needs of all music producers and beat makers everywhere. This great selection of 150 samples will take your production to the next level, making it possible to make tracks on the fly with sounds that will fit every genre, including recent ones such as Future bass, Trap, Lo-Fi hip hop, and many others!

Q: 6. How long is the cable(s)? What is the polarity of the tip/ring? What is the size of the barrel connector?

A: The cable is approximately 3' long. The barrel connector is 2.1 x 5.5mm with a positive tip and negative sleeve.

Q: 7. Are you able to upload your own beats onto the Pa 300?

A: Yes, the Korg Pa300 Professional Arranger can read and play back files in standard MIDI, MP3, and Karaoke (KAR) formats.

Q: 8. Is this the compatible adapter for the electribe2s sampler?

A: According to Korg USA, yes

Q: 9. Can this be used with an acoustic autoharp?

A: Yes, the Korg CA-2 Chromatic Tuner can be used with an acoustic autoharp. The tuner has a sensitive built-in mic that will pickup the sound of the autoharp. You can also use it with a clip-on contact microphone like the Korg CM-300 Clip-On Contact Microphone (B&H # KOCM300BK) which plugs directly into the input on the tuner and is very handy to have if there may be a lot of background noise while you are trying to tune, or just to give you the ability to have distance between the tuner and instrument.

Q: 10. Does it come with an IR remote for channel up/down?

A: The Contemporary Research 232-ATSC 4K HDTV Tuner (B&H# CO232ATSC4K) does not come with an IR remote for changing the channel, nor with a receiver for receiving the IR signal. Therefore, you will want the Contemporary Research IR-RXC External IR Receiver (B&H# COIRRXC, https://bhpho.to/3XkztiB) and the Contemporary Research HD2-RC Wireless IR Remote for Select AV and HDTV Tuners (B&H# COHD2RC, https://bhpho.to/3IHx4tz).

[0.08 lb] It tunes, it clamps, and best of all, it turns on and off with a sturdy power switch. The switch on my old one broke after the first use. I had to keep taking the battery out, and it would run down the battery immediately if I forgot. Then I got a kitten; she ate the battery and got very, very sick for a few days.

[0.08 lb] The Snark does exactly what it’s suppose to do, and much easier and better than most of its competitors. Only thing is keep an eye on the rubber cover over the bottom of the clamp, it is easily lost and Snark has terrible customer service. The tuner is still useable without it, but it’s something to mention. All in all though, it’s amazingly accurate and practical for under $10 bucks.

[0.08 lb] Well made good added features. This was to replace my old Boss Tuner, which lasted on the road for over 10 years.

[0.08 lb] Accurate, precise guitar tuning without a lot of confusing modes.  And the on/off switch is on the front which is nice.

[±1 cent] First off, B&H have some of the best prices and quick shipping! As for Snark, very confusing website as to which to choose....guitar and bass or all instrument ones. No great definition as to which you should buy and all with $1 or $2 range. The plus is which ever you choose, you will not be disappointed. I am very pleased with the SN5X for my bass. Some do have a built in mic which would help with horn instruments. Don't wait like me, buy it now and from B&H.
