Nexi Urban Series Wah Pedal For Electric Guitars

Nexi Urban Series Wah Pedal For Electric Guitars
  • Product Code: eq58613
  • Availability: In Stock

$255.72 $401.48

Intended for electric guitarists, the NEXI Industries Urban Series Wah is a pedal designed to work with the company's Solution pedalboards, taking up two slots in the board rather than one. However, it also works with standard pedal chains and conventional pedalboards.

Featuring an all-analog construction in an all-metal chassis, the Urban Series Wah provides a simple operation over a classic wah wah sound. A treadle with a 100-kOhm potentiometer is offered, and with this treadle, you can get all the funky, classic analog wahs of the 1970s. The pedal utilizes a true bypass circuit, so when it's not in use, no trace of the circuitry impacts your tone.

Though intended for use with Solution pedalboards, this stompbox can also work with most setups. Simply remove the rubberized pads on the unit, and you'll find all the customary I/O jacks and connectivity options including a slot for a 9V battery or your own power supply. Either way, the pedal is sure to bring you the gritty sound you expect from an analog stompbox.

Recognizing that pedalboards can often be ungainly, NEXI Industries sought out to fix the conundrum of exposed connector cables, multiple power bricks, and the variable condition of day-to-day gigging life. The result is a pedalboard that is said to be splash proof with no exposed cables or cords. The board even sports an adjustable boost function, a tuner, and a channel switcher for your amp. They call it The Solution.

Into this pedalboard, guitarists have the ability to plug a whole ecosystem of modular, analog pedals in any order they choose. And this is where the Urban Series Wah comes in: you can plug this pedal directly into your Solution pedalboard by means of a multipin connection on the rear. Unlike other NEXI Industries pedals, it'll take up two spaces instead of one on the board. But the multipin principle still applies.

Were you to do so, you wouldn't need a separate 1/4" connection for the pedal's input or output, nor would you need a 9V battery, a BOSS-style 9V power adapter, or a bunch of hook-and-loop fastener scuffing up the back of the stompbox. Yet the company recognizes that guitarists want the option to use the pedal however they'd like; so, all the conventional I/O and powering methods are on hand.

[100 kOhms] I ordered this case to accommodate a newly acquired Ibanez RG7420fm.
The case arrived in flawless condition, in less than a week, with free shipping!
I'm so satisfied with this purchase, that I'm already on the notification list for when they're back in stock so I can have the proper case for my Ibanez S7320!
I enjoy doing business with B&H; they live up to their word and do so with great prices and with fast service!

[Foot treadle] First, I love this item . I have a Roland GR55 now. When I have access to AC power, I have a ball with it.
But,
I busk in my town’s Main Street where AC power is not available. Granted, the SY-1 isn’t as sophisticated and the GR 55, but now I can expand my guitars palette of tones.

I had been searching for this item for months. All the typical outlets kept pushing their in stock dates forward in time. I even made a purchase of the SY-1 on eBay, only to have the seller cancel the sale for no apparent reason.
I searched again and saw it listed on B&H. It said it was in stock. I called and was told it was in inventory. A few days later it was in my hands .

Cannot Be too positive about my experience with B&H. They came thru..hands down.

I have shopped with them before, but now, they are my first go to place for music gear.

THANK YOU!!

[Foot treadle] It really is the perfect strap for a GK Studio or really any guitar that doesn’t have the top strap button.

[Foot treadle] The original case for my AS-200 might be best characterized as semi-hard shell. It creaked when you picked it up, and the cover had started to peel off in places, so when I had the 41 year-old guitar refurbished, I treated it to a new case. It fits well, and Ibanez is not exactly like other semi-hollows. It's a little big on the lower 'bout. The latches align well, and the case affords enough protection for around-town gigs. As airport luggage I'd double-box or at least wrap the guitar's headstock to prevent movement. The case is a true hard-body. The shell isn't thick but seems strong. It is deeper than it needs to be: the neck inclines as it sets in the case. My only disappointment was in B&H itself, that my particular case was clearly an open-box (tears in the plastic bag the case was in, box had been opened) and should have been sold as such. Couldn't find damage to the case itself, or I would have returned it. Maybe get this case but from another source?
