A: Yes works fine with the CL. Need to set your lens to fully manual aperture mode (auto close down of aperture doesn't work as there is no electronic connection between the lens and camera. I have used with an old M42 Pentacon 50mm f1.8 lens. The only thing I couldn't get to work was magnification of the image for focusing. But if focusing wide open you don't need this as the EVF is good enough. If this is important get a Leica M to TL adapter and then add a M42 to Leica M adapter. The camera recognises the Leica branded M adapter and enables magnification. Downside is you have to buy two adapters.
