The white Audix M55WS Supercardioid Ceiling Microphone Height Adjustablefrom Audix M55WS Supercardioid Ceiling Microphone Height Adjustableis designed for applications where sound quality and ease of installation are critical, such as in boardrooms, lecture halls, churches, and learning centers.

The M55 accommodates optional interchangeable capsules with cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and supercardioid (shotgun) coverage patterns (sold separately). All electronics are fully integrated with high sensitivity and low noise and are equipped with a balanced signal output for inhibiting RF interference from cell phones and GSM devices.

Installation requires drilling one 5/8" hole in the ceiling with no additional tools needed. The adjustable mounting hardware allows the mic to hang up to 4' from the ceiling surface without removing the ceiling tiles. An optional aiming clip (sold separately) provides additional angular adjustments. The cable assembly features a solderless Phoenix connector and is housed in an airtight, plenum-rated junction box. A seismic restraint safety cable is also provided.

A: This unit already has a built-in accessory shelf. We do not currently carry any other additional shelves for this model.

A: Approximately 21.5 inches. Really low. There are height adjustments at 3 inch increments. I have mine set at 27.5.

Q: 3. What is the thread size at the base? I have four bases with this thread size, but most shafts are M20. This is larger than M20.

A: The manufacturer has not specified the size of the On-Stage DS7200B base threads.

Q: 4. Can it be broken down easily so that the base and stand can be stored in a small space?

A: The Mount-It! Portable Height Adjustable Laptop & Projector Stand (BH # MOMI7943) is not quickly broken down as it is assembled with bolts and nuts and requires tools to assemble and disassemble. Once disassembled it could be stored in a compact space.

Q: 5. can you get a shelf for this model?

A: This is an excellent stand. I bought two for my 55 inch monitors that I rent out. Light weight, easy to move and solid.

Q: 6. Can the upper tray fit Epson LS800 projector?

A: No, the upper tray on the Mount-It! Portable Height Adjustable Laptop & Projector Stand (B&H # MOMI7943) is only about half the length of the Epson LS800 projector.

A: There was no proposition 65 warning on this product the I saw.

[End Address] I have used the D6 on 3 shows with many more to come. It does just what it was designed to do. 6 to 8 inches away from the beater head in line with the beaters. It has made a great difference in our sound and has surprised a few sound guys who are fans of other mikes. I have no complaints. It is easy to use as you have very little adjustments on the mixing board 5

[Supercardioid] We have a large ballroom space in which the sound system was badly installed years ago. Not much headroom and the speakers are in the ceiling. None of my techs could decent sound off of a podium because they were using SM57s as podium mics. I ordered these and speeches sound much better. The system still needs work, but these are a vast improvement. 5

[Phantom Power] I was tired of listening to myself singing with the Audio Technica AtT2010 for 2 years, proximity effect was awful on that mic. With the Audix vx5 everything is better, no more proximity effect!!! Voice is warm, clarity is high, I love it. Thanks to B&H also, I got the price match and received the microphone in 3 days, I live in California, what a great company to deal with. 5

[Solid-State] The Good thing I found it in this stand, is the on/off switch. You can turn on the condenser microphone silently without any noise. This feature is difficult to find it in any on/off switch in condenser microphone. 5
