Hawke Sport Optics 1.5-6x36 XB30 Crossbow Scopeoptimized the Hawke Sport Optics 1.5-6x36 XB30 Crossbow Scopeand its XB30 Compact SR reticle for use with crossbows that produce speeds from 250 to 450 feet per second. The reticle is located in the first second plane and offers four hollow posts and an illuminated crosshair with ballistic stadia for a 100-yard maximum range and winds from 10 to 20 mph. It is also factory set to be parallax-free at 50 yards. For clarity and brightness of images, the optical system is outfitted with 14-layer fully multi-coated lenses and a 36mm objective. The housing has a 30mm single-piece maintube, fast-focus eyepiece, and capped low-profile windage and elevation turrets. The entire construction is water and fogproof for protection against environmental conditions. Also included are one CR2032 battery for powering the reticle and two durable aluminum flip-up lens caps for protecting the optics.

[36 mm] This scope was an up grade for my Barnett and boy am I glad I did it. Spot on! With my other scope I couldn't keep zero and when I did it wasn't as accurate. I would definitely recommend this scope to anyone who wants a kill. 5

[1.5 to 6x] Great scope, clear and the illuminated reticle is awesome.The speed ring is spot on. Just zero the 20 yard cross hair and set the speed ring to bows speed and the rest of the cross hairs are on. If you don't know your crossbow speed, set the first cross hair and adjust speed ring until the second cross hair is on at 30 yards. This will also let you know your crossbow speed. 5

[1.5 to 6x] I purchased this scope to replace the Horton scope on my Horton storm. This Hawke scope has a much better field of view than the Horton. The power setting works great. Just sight in at 20 yards and move back to a longer distance and adjust the speed selector dial till the arrow hits the center and your done. I tried shooting 50 gr. heavier arrows and by adjusting the speed dial all the distance crosses were right on. By marking the speed dial for reference I can go back and forth between light and heavy arrows. I also tried the scope in the dark and the light gathering was good. I could pick trees and limbs out much better than just using the naked eye. The illuminated reticle was not overpowering in the dark while on low setting. I could still make everything out and the aiming points were just bright enough not overpowering. This should work great for hunting dawn and dusk. This is my third Hawke scope and I love it just like the others I have which I use on air rifles. Be aware that the speed dial is also your power setting. So the speed of your crossbow determines what power setting the scope will be set to. The faster your speed the higher the magnification will be . 5

[1.5 to 6x] Received the scope promptly as ordered and immediately installed it with my existing rings and bases. Very easy to sight in at 20 yes and after adjusting the speed dial was good to go. I've only shot it to 60 yes so far but the accurate clicks on the turrets will adjust nicely if any fine tuning is needed farther out. Was surprised it came with see thru scope caps. Definitely would buy another if need arises. 5

[1.5 to 6x] I bought a crossbow that came with a factory scope that just would not hold zero. I read many reviews on this scope on the crossbow forums and decided to buy this one. What a difference in quality! Crystal clear easy to sight in and once the speed is selected for the crossbow all marks for the yardage is right on the mark. Would buy again and recommend this scope to others. 5

[36 mm] This scope has more features than other scopes in its price range. The combination of illumination and a speed dial for under $200 is a great value. The quality of this scope seems to be equal or better than other similarly priced scopes. On top of that B&H 's price was $50 below everyone else! 5

[1x CR2032] This is a great scope for a crossbow if you want to shoot out to 100 yards. It has aiming points that are accurate at 10 yard increments out to 100 yards - once the speed dial is set for the correct velocity of your bolt. I used a chronograph to clock the speed of the bolt, and then set the speed to the correct velocity. At each distance, my bolts landed within two inches of the aiming points (at anything under 70 yards, the aiming points were dead on!). Great scope!! 5

[1x CR2032] Unbelievable clarity, dual illumination is slick. I removed the Factory scope that would never sight in properly. 7 shots later I am in the woods. Highly recommend to purchase. 5
