Q: 1. What are the interior dimensions?

Q: 2. Why are the interior dimensions of the C6052 52" case smaller than the interior dimensions of the C6050 50" case? Shouldn't they be longer since it is 2" longer? Or is that a misprint in the specs.

A: The dimensions are correct. The Lightware C6052, 52 is the outside dimension. The C6050 50" case is longer.

Q: 3. What material is the foam made out of? Polyurethane / Polyethylene?

A: The foam interior of the ZEISS Otus Transport Case is made of polyurethane cubed foam.

Q: 4. Is the zip open lid padded?

A: 3/16 of stiff foam inside the lid. Not much, but it's not just fabric.

Q: 5. Is this IP67 rated?

A: According to the manufacturer, the ZEISS Otus Transport Case has successfully been tested for IP67 . This means dust- and waterproof (water to 1 meter/ half an hour dry).

Q: 6. Would you trust the protection for checking this with two tripods inside?

A: Yes, we usually use this as a stand, soft box, tripod bag. We tend to put the tripod in another protective bag within the Lightware case because we have a full bag and fly with these bags all the time.

Q: 7. How close to 38" is the interior? I'd like to use for a light kit that has a 38.5" soft box frame (collapsed) that has to fit inside.

A: This case has interior dimensions of 38.0 inches, it is just a bit too small to handle a 38.5 inch frame. The next size up from Lightware is the C6050 Flip Lid Cargo Case (Black), B&H # LIC6050, which has an interior dimension of 50 inches. https://bhpho.to/2ebhlC8

Q: 8. is there an options for a 100mm otus insert? It fits in fourth space using foam around, but not nearly as stable.

A: There is not option on the ZEISS Otus Transport Case to get foam for the Otus 100mm lens.

Q: 9. Does this come with any dividers?

A: No it doesn't.

Q: 10. Hi,I am looking for a cargo case that will handle the impact turtle base c-stand kit. Would this C6052 work? it seems a bit on the small side.Please advise asap.Thanks

A: Yes, that will fit. The C stand you are referring to is designed with a removable base. So with that it will fit in the case.

[Empty] Lightware has been the pro's choice for years. Make the investment and know your equipment will be well protected for years to come. I use this bag for all my stands. I can fit a background set up, 2 heavy duty stands with breakaway crossbar as well as three more medium size light stands. And it's still got a little room for clamps and tape. I also have the 2316 Shokbox for my strobes. Love Lightware! 5

[Handle] This is very sturdy. The stitching seems very strong. I've loaded this thing up with 5 c-stands, a slider, extension cords, gaff tape, clamps, reflectors, and more. The Lightware case will not fail or rip. However, picking it up when it's full is a feat of its own. I highly recommend this. Just be sure you need one this big before you buy. I bought it because I needed a bag I could fit c-stands into. It works great. However, it gets ridiculously heavy when you fill it up. Easily a 2-person move. You're probably going to need to put it on a cart of some sort. 5

[Black] It was shown as an accessory for the Celestron CPC Deluxe 1100. I assumed it would be the perfect case for the heavy duty tripod that comes with it. The case itself is very well made, the price implies that, outstanding protection, heavy duty zippers and handle. The only but, the tripod with the accessory tray attached won't fit in the case. My fix to this is to remove the tray and using a large piece of foam store the tray in the case separate from the tripod. 5
