A: The lens adapter is a manual one. It does not transfer any electronics of the lens. The lens will not have autofocus and like the adapter it will be manual only.

Q: 3. Can you change the aperture on the lens or stop it down at all?

A: It the lenses you are using have an f/stop ring you can control the f/stop from that. If it does not the adapter has a diaphragm that you can open and close to control the amount of light getting to the camera. The adapter is manual only so it does not transfer any electronics to the camera to control f/stops or autofocus.

A: It is best to have an adapter for each lens. However if you use a strong fingernail or small flat screw driver, there is a little clip which holds the adapter firm, by moving back a bit you can then turn the adapter off .Hope this is helpful!
