A: We used Hubbell Cat6 Ethernet modules. You could use Cat5e - but why limit yourself.

Q: 4. Does it allow Phantom Power to gp through?

A: Hi Mike. As long as you are wired up properly these will pass phantom without issue. Note that the 1/4" is rarely if ever used for phantom- the XLR will work without issue. Thank you!

Q: 5. Will this work with the fuji x-t4? it says I need an adapter without a DAC that is fully analog.

A: USB is a digital protocol, so a 3.5mm to USB adapter will always involve analog to digital conversion.

Q: 6. Does B&H sell a USB-to-5VDC cable that would enable this to run off a Power Delivery battery? Thanks!

A: I'm sorry at this time we do not have a Battery option for the Vanco HDMI Extender over Single Cat 6/5e Cable with IR Blaster.

Q: 7. how to install on a windows 7?

A: The C2G 4-Port USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A Hub BH #CAC2G54461 is plug and play. All you have to do is connect it to your computer and your devices to it.

Q: 8. Is it 5V 3A total? or per port?

A: The C2G 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub includes a 5V 3A power supply to power the entire hub.

Q: 9. Does this work in stereo?

A: Yes, this works in Full High Definition Stereo.

Q: 10. Can you use cat7,7a,8 instead of 5e/6,6a?

A: No, only Cat 6/5e is compatible.

[Cat 6] You can find cheaper options that handle gigabit speeds just fine, but this worked great to get my order into free shipping territory. Connected from router to new mini PC. No complaints. 5
