[Aluminum] These are very well made and much better than the cheaper version. A great simple and still very inexpensive way to put your contax lenses on an EF mount. Great results on BMPCC Pro 6k and RED.

[Canon EF-M] When does that happen? Very excited. Now get to use my Zeiss prime lens on the Sony FS5 4K...

[Aluminum] A 4/18 Distagon for Contax is among the best super wide angles you can buy. Granted, with this Adapter you loose some of the features (no autofocus, no auto-stop down) but for the real photographer the quality of the lens is the most important thing. Oh, and I also saved about $ 800 dollars which I otherwise would have to pay for a replacement Canon lens...............

[Aluminum] I was able to attach and detach this adapter with one hand. When attaching, a crimped metal band passes over a fixed piece of metal then falls and clicks into a detent. There is very, very little movement allowed when the lens is attached to a camera. To remove the adapter, grasp it with one hand, place the back of your fingernail against the crimped piece of metal and push it completely out of the detent, then turn the adapter to the left. The action may shave a small fleck off the back of your fingernail. which you can blow away. This is easy enough for me with my smaller fingers, but if you have large hands, or chew away your fingernails, you may have difficulty. I only have one C/Y lens to adapt, so I won't need to remove the adapter, but I did it several times for this review.
