A: Yes, all DisplayPort cables that are not Reduced Bit Rate (and this one is not) will.

Q: 4. When using this cable the audio channels on the camera are not used by Tentacle Sync, right? It just keeps the camera TC in sync and I'm free to use the cameras audio channels how I want?

A: Correct, this cable can be used with a RED camera (except RED One), connected to the 4-pin LEMO TC Sync port. Audio channels will not be effected.

Q: 5. Can this cable used for POE switch for power? Or is this not supported for poe use?

A: Yes, the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Cat 6 Indoor Ethernet Cable (1,000', White) BH #UBUCC6CMR supports POE.

Q: 6. Will 4K video work across this?

A: The Pearstone 6' SDI Video Cables are not designed for 4K video. The highest resolution that we recommend is 1080 60p.

Q: 7. If this is DP 1.4, why would it be limited to 4k @ 120 hz when DP 1.4 can support 144 hz @ 4k? Has anyone tried 4k @ 144 hz?

A: The DisplayPort 1.4 protocol supports a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz at 4K resolution, so the Rocstor DisplayPort 1.4 Cable will not be capable of 144 Hz 4K video transmission. 144 Hz 4K with DP 1.4 is only possible using DSC, which is something only certain monitors support and would not be considered the true spec of the protocol.

Q: 8. Does the photo for this MIDI cable match the one you received? Or did you get a new-style cable? Hosa is restyling their cable connectors, but there are original-style cables still in the pipeline. I am curious if you got the original or new style when you purchased. Thanks.

A: The restyling of this cable occurred in 2015. It is likely all the old-style cables have already been sold off since it has been 2 years.

Q: 9. Has anyone used these cables (RG6) with the Sony NXCAM? Is there a difference between this and the RG59?

A: This cable will work with Sony camcorders when outputting video signals up to 1080 60p.

Q: 10. would this work on the RED Komodo?

A: The Red Komodo has a 3.5mm audio input but I am not seeing that this could be used for timecode syncing.

[250 MHz] Recently replaced an aging 10+ years old router. In doing so, I replaced all of my home network ethernet cables. This 10' grey cable was an ideal length for connecting my AIO printer & new router. Connection performed as expected. [Stranded] You can find cheaper options that handle gigabit speeds just fine, but this worked great to get my order into free shipping territory. Connected from router to new mini PC. No complaints. 5
