A: Since your Helios lens uses a PL mount adapter, you will be able to use the FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter Arri PL to Sony E Mount and attach it to cameras that use a Sony E mount.

A: I've used this adapter with several PL mount lenses, they have all fit just fine (Cabrio 19-90, Cooke S4i, UltraPrime, Canon 17-120, and others). Be sure to properly support the lens since both the soft aluminum of the Fotodiox mount adapter as well as the E-Mount itself are prone to flexing.

Q: 3. How can I unmount my lenses after using this adapter? I seems that there is no release button.

A: The silver thing on the side that looks like a button slides back and forth rather than moving in and out (up and down) like a regular button, so sliding it back and forth pulls the retention pin out of it's lock depression

A: I use this adapter on my NX300 and use Cannon EF lenses and i do not have any issues. What model camera are you trying to use this on?

A: Unfortunately no.This adapter has the NX mount. You need something with the NX-M mount.You could try the NX to NX-M mount adapter altogether with this other adapter....

A: Your lenses still need to cover the sensor even if they have the PL mount. I use this adapter for my super16 film lenses. Only my canon tv zoom lens vignettes on my GH2.

A: NO!!! It does not fit

[Samsung NX] This adapter fits very snugly on a Zeiss 10-100 and Angenieux 12-120 and feels solid. Almost too snug, as it's a bit tricky to twist off, but I prefer that to having it loose in the mount. The twist lock is a nice feature, much preferable to the cheaper solutions that tighten with a small allen screw. 5

[Samsung NX] I use this on a panasonic DMC G7 m 4/3 camera with some PL prime lenses. Mounts on both ends are sturdy and go on/come off easy. 5

[4 x 3.5 x 1.7"] Bought this adapter blind for a small project I was shooting that required Cine glass. I'm thoroughly happy with it. It fits the X-Mount perfectly with no wiggle or play at all; and the PL mount tightens snug on the front. I mounted Leica Summicron-C Cine lenses on my Fujifilm X-T2, and it maintained focus all the way through the range. I felt comfortable with the weight of the Leica Summicron-C’s, but I wouldn’t put anything heavier than that on this mount as I don’t think the camera’s X-Mount would be able to handle the weight. I think the Leica Summilux and Summicron Cine lenses, Arri Ultra Primes, and the Zeiss CP2’s and CP3’s would be ideal for this. Anything heavier would require rod support with a lens post. Does NOT come with a front cap or rear cap! Otherwise, very happy with it! 5

This adapter works flawlessly and you don't have to worry about collimation; if your Arri B mount lens is properly collimated, it will remain so when this adapter is applied. Construction is solid and it can be put on a lens in a matter of seconds. Highly recommended. 5
