A: I'm not sure what you mean by all your connections you mentioned. However I think it would be a good idea to run your cable wire in to the surge supressor, and out to your cable box to make sure all devices after that are protected. Also you should run your power for all devices from a surge protected outlet. Make sure you have enough protection for all your devices according to the electrical usage. See apc's website to help determine your needs. I also have battery backups/surge for my computers. No power or phone line or cable should be unprotected heading into your components.
