The V-Lock Base Station and Wedge Kit from Wooden Camera is a quick release set based on the standard V-Lock (or V-Dock). The Base Station portion can bolt into a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 hole using the included screws. Set screws can also be installed to prevent twisting, and the Base Station has the hole pattern for the ARRI accessory mount pins. The V-Lock Accessory Wedge is the dovetail portion of the kit and can bolt into any ARRI-standard accessory mount or 3/8"-16 hole.

A: The universal support foot should not be necessary when using the SmallRig cage.

Q: 5. Will this attach on a Dana Dolly? I want to do underslung specifically.

A: The Proaim Mitchell-Base Tilt Wedge (B&H# PRPMTCLWP) features a base with many holes in it that could be used with appropriate hardware (screws and washers) to attach it to a Dana Dolly Portable Dolly System with Universal Track Ends, 100 & 150mm Bowl Adapters (B&H# DADD150UK). However, unless you are thinking to drill holes in the dolly, please keep in mind that the screw holes may not line up. As such, you may need to mount the base of the tilt wedge at an angle so that you can use at least two screws or bolts to connect them.

Q: 6. How is the L-mount side? Any play or looseness? For example, I have tried both the Sigma MC-31 and the Fotodiox Pro and while the Sigma is very snug on the L-mount side, the Fotodiox is loose and sloppy. How does the Wooden Camera version compare?

A: The adapter is a bit lighter and thinner than some others but does seem to be very good. And it comes with universal support foot. I would suggest using that to help relieve stress on the Camera lens mount. Especially with heavy lenses.

Q: 7. I have a benro BV10 (100mm). Will this be able to work? I have a Dana dolly 100mm Mitchell mount adapter.

Q: 8. Does the bottom of this adapter sit flat along with the base of S1H on the table?

A: Yes, the Universal Support Foot that is included with the L-Mount to PL Mount Pro for certain Panasonic and Leica cameras does sit flat against the bottom of the camera as well as on a table.

Q: 9. I'm trying to mount a castlenut to the bottom, but how the holes are shaped the screws fall right through. What can I do?

A: According to Proaim, for the Proaim Mitchell-Base Tilt Wedge, you can use a 3/8" countersunk head bolt.

[3.1 x 2.45 x 1"] This is such an amazing little piece of gear. Makes it quick and easy to pop on and off gear from my rig (articulating arms, monitors, audio recorders, etc). No need to spin your monitor or friction arm around in circles every time you need to put it on and off. Great is great quality and the safety pins are great as well. BUT the only issues I've had seems to be with quality control of the products from Wooden Camera. So I've ordered this nato rail, the nato rail friction arm as well as two RED pogo to pogo plugs. There has been an issue with every single piece I've received. Both NATO packages had badly machined screws and one pogo was missing screws and the other had faulty thumb screws. Wooden Cameras service was amazingly quick and replaced the screws in a second. I'm still waiting to see what they do with the pogos. So as a product itself I give it 5 stars. Wooden Camera's service is also 5 stars so far. But I'd say overall consistency of all of their products being made to standard is 2 STARS. 5

[0.15 lb] I have owned every VCT plate out there Shape, Zacuto, movcam, chrosziel and i've sold them all. I found them to be incredibly heavy and cumbersome. I wanted something that maintained the low height of my FS7 body when its on my shoulder. Most VCT plates sit so high on the shoulder throwing off the centre of gravity, wooden camera managed to keep the shoulder pad tight to plate eliminating this problem. It only weighs 1.3 LBS which is important when travelling with a kit. They've also ingeniously incorporated their dovetail system into the plate for easy removal of the camera. I cannot recommend this plate enough to anyone trying to keep the weight and profile down of their camera. After a few weeks of shoulder intensive shooting I can confidently say this is the best product out there. 5
