[9.2 oz / 260 g] It's no secret that most of today's home theater receivers (HTR's) run hot. Sometimes very hot.
I installed my rather muscular Denon HTR inside a ventilated cabinet, but it was still running uncomfortably warm (even with plenty of head space), especially when driving my relatively low impedence loudspeakers at relatively high levels..
Once I installed the AIRCOM T8 unit, the receiver never runs any hotter than about 82 F.
Usually, the T8 fans run at their lowest speed (I use the T8's AUTO setting). Now and then they'll speed up when very demanding material is played. Personally I've never found the fan noise to intrude on the source material.
Extremely happy with the T8. Highly recommended.

[9.2 oz / 260 g] Absolutely love this piece of Cambo equipment... They've gone through this design from top to bottom and have created a platform that is essentially a genius solution to having the ultimate digital view camera for those of us who require such a technical approach to creating images. The build quality and precision are top notch - everything feels very well machined and well assembled. The multiple lens plates for lens manufactures such as Mamiya, Pentax, Hasselblad, Leica and their very own Actar series of lenses allows you to have many options when it comes to lenses.

At first, this system can be confusing with what lenses will work with what body or digital back, but once you get familiar with their lens chart, it starts to make sense as to what can be used. The lens chart, listed below, gives all the data necessary to make informed decisions. I will say, with Pentax 645 glass, the latest HD DFA lenses are made specifically for Pentax's digital medium format bodies, which require a much smaller image circle than Pentax's 645 film format. So the A and FA Pentax lenses are a better option if you require shifting/rise/fall movements.


All in all, I would highly recommend this system. If you need rear standard movements, Cambo has even more in depth models known as the Actus MV and Actus XL, which in my mind seems better suited for studio and product photography. Personally, I use this system for interior design and architectural photography and I must say: it's working better than any T/S lens - and I own and use some phenomenal T/S lenses, i.e., the 19mm, 24mm, 45mm and 85mm PC-e lenses from Nikon; these are outstanding lenses, but the Cambo allows me more freedom of movement, so this is why I made the switch from a pair Nikon D-850 bodies and said T/S lenses. Freedom!!!!! (of movement).

[9.5 x 5 x 2"] The black metal frame matches my Arcam finish and quality. Front rounded corners would probably match Marantz AVRs perfectly, but that's just a guess.

[9.2 oz / 260 g] Purchased (2) of these and will add a third since I'm adding another
amp to my system. These keep my amp and AVR cool inside my cabinet with doors
that have openings in the rear for the exhaust. I set both of my T8's at 89F
and it does an excellent job. The fan noise is slightly noticeable if my
cabinet doors are open in variable mode but can hear the fans pretty well if
the fans are running full, which rarely happens so far. This is an inexpensive
investment for those who have amps & AVR's that typically run warm.

[0.8" / 20 mm] My wife does not like to see my audio components, so we have an AV cabinet with solid doors.  Even though the back is open, I was having problems with my receiver switching off when we were playing action movies at anything over a fairly low volume.  I never did the actual measurements, but the receiver was acting as if it was overheating and activating its high temperature switch mode.

I installed the Aircom T8, and I have not yet had a problem.  It shows that the receiver temperature never exceeds 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and it runs very quietly.  Since I keep the front doors of my cabinet closed, the display is not an issue for me.

[0.7 lb] I got this as a replacement for my generic 4x4 matte box. This fits perfectly into the cold-shoe slot on the top of the matte box. Fits any cold shoe/hot shoe mount. Good build quality (all aluminum) nicely machined. I'd buy again.

[0.8" / 20 mm] Wish I would have seen this sooner. Works great and easy to set up. I bought the T8 with rear exhaust. Highly recommended.

[0.7 lb] Our club purchased this to record woodturning demonstrations, and it was an upgrade over our stationary tripod. It works even better than we imagined. We're able to move the camera right over the action, and back out again to view the audience or for a wide angle of the demonstration. This is professional-grade equipment...excellent quality materials with superb machining. Very smooth action and highly adjustable. It was an expensive purchase, but I think well worth it for the improvements in our productions.

[9.5 x 5 x 2"] My Hegel H590 was getting a bit hot inside a BDI cabinet with door in front and open in back. Putting this on top of the amplifier keeps it cool. Fans only come on when temperature calls for it. Fairly quiet--not perfect-- but behind a closed door with sound playing you do not hear it.
