[0.08 lb] Used it on my Pi, worked with no fiddling. I enabled PCIe 3 and it is very stable so far. I did set the Pi's fan to run slowly all the time to keep everything cool. Wow... the speed is incredible. A different, main line, brand would't boot until I patched the config.txt file. 5

[0.08 lb] For $20, this is worth it all. If you are planning on having a backup or a really budget M.2 this would definitely make it. I currently have my windows installed on this and it's quite noticeable comparing to the older ssd's I had. 5

[0.08 lb] I bought this card about six months ago to the SATA SSD in a Dell Precision 5810 workstation using a 1 terabyte Samsung 970 Evo Plus as the boot drive. It was easy to setup and the performance has been great. I work in technology for a living and have been buying parts like this from StarTech for 10 plus years and I've never been disappointed with their products or their support. If I were, I have no doubt they would take care of it. Before you install any kind of PCI Express card to use an NVMe SSD as a boot drive, do the research to make sure your systems supports it. Otherwise, that's on you for not "reading the directions". 5
