Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. WHAT IS THE DIMENSIONS OF THE CARRYING CASE?

A: The case is 23x5x11.5.

Q: 2. What is the difference between this and the RGB?

A: The GVM 800D RGB offers color effects and color temperature control versus the 560AS which only offers color temperature control.

Q: 3. How many lux at 5 feet (1.5m)?

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer only provides a lumens rating of 10800 and they not specify at which distance this measurement was taken.

Q: 4. What’s the best 560 or 800 D ?

A: The choice of one product over the other is going to depend on your needs. While the 560AS offers a wider CCT range (2300K-6800K) than the 800D (3200K-5600K), it does not offer the same RBG capability. If you use color effects on a regular basis, the 800's RBG feature will be extremely convenient. If you only need the bi-color feature, the 560AS is the better option as it is brighter. I hope you find this response helpful.

Q: 5. The posting doesn't adequately show the lumens of the lights. What are they?

A: Lumens are not often used as you can not set a camera to a lumen rating. The specs provided by the factory are a 30w draw which translates to roughly a 150w tungsten equivalent.

Q: 6. Does it take 4 batteries to power this light?

A: Yes.

Q: 7. where can I find batteries for the GVM560AS Bi-Color LED 2-Panel kit? what kind of batteries would they be?

A: Battery # GVMNPS750

Q: 8. Is there a way to turn off the WiFi each of these lights uses? (The app is basically useless, so the fact that the lights run a WiFi access point wastes energy and creates undesirable interference with useful wireless networks in the vicinity.)

A: Wi-Fi can be enabled and disabled if need.

Q: 9. What is the wattage of these lights? I’ll be using these in TV News for Liveshots with a reporter. I need to make sure they will be bright enough which they should but I need to make sure.

A: Photometrics 353 fc / 3800 Lux at 3.28' / 1 m depending on your requirement this is not a very bright light

Q: 10. How many Watts from an AC Power Source? Also, can I attach V-Mount Batteries?

A: The Yongnuo LUX200 Handheld Bi-Color LED Monolight Kit (White) (B&H# YOLUX200KBCW) will draw around 120W from an AC power source, but that varies with the AC source as higher voltages are typically more efficiently converted to the DC power that the light fixture actually uses. Yes, a V-mount battery or other DC power source may be used to power it by connecting an appropriate cable from your DC power source to the rear power port directly.

[CRI 95] I think what I loved most about these lights is their practicality. The bi-color light they put off is decently bright for smaller projects in smaller locations. The batteries provided in this setup are great so far. I've used them for a long 6 hour shoot with almost constant power and they lasted. Would recommend for anyone needed an affordable and decent softbox light option.

[86 W ] Very good lamp, the price and the quality are equal.

The MB832 is a very low priced LED panel light aimed at home or careful use for You-Tubers or interviews.

MB832 is made of aluminum alloy, which makes it easier to dissipate heat.

The panel of MB832 also has a layer of protective plastic, which can play a great role in the protection of the light (I think it is very necessary if I often go out to shoot outdoors).

Color quality is on par with lights at much higher price points.Out-put is modest, but useable for talkng head style video or headshot photography.

[19 VDC at 5 A] I've been looking for a small light panel that is well-built, bright, and functional. I considered Aputure, but their recent panels are all plastic. I've been waiting for an all metal build from Aputure that is $500, but it hasnt' come.

I've also had Dracast and GVM Panels in the past, but the plastic parts just fall apart over time.

This Godox panel solves all of my previous issues, and is much brighter!

[86 W ] I don’t think you can beat these for the price. They haven’t let me down yet. I’m happy with them. Use ‘em for video work.
