A: Theoretically, it is possible that high strength X-ray machines can fog film or paper, which is typically the case with checked bagged rather than hand-carry/carry-on which typically use a weaker form of x-ray radiation.

A: This is a roll of paper that is 24 inches wide by 66 feet long.

Q: 9. what's the difference between semi-matt and pearl finishes?

A: Semi Matt is closer to a matt finish than it is to glossy (my observation/opinion). I have never seen pearl in a fiber base paper, only in RC, and that has a more radiant or iridescent look.

Q: 10. is this black and white?

A: Yes this paper is for black and white printing in a darkroom.

[Satin/Silk] This paper is consistent and dry down differential is minimal. Tones well with selenium. Tones better in warm water than colder water. 5

[Alpha Cellulose] Wouldn't be without a roll and some cut sheet in the studio. My go-to for B&W is actually NOT this paper but Ilford Gold Mono Silk (buy it). However, not only will this take a B&W print and make it pop, it adds some depth because of it's slight texture (the same texture that means it has a bit less glare than Mono Silk). This is not a heavy paper and almost a cross between a fine art photo paper and canvas--as odd as that might seem; it is the texture that gives you that sense as well as the thinner and more flexible nature of the paper. Again, in my world this is a must-have stock item. Great for portraits or Fine Art/Landscape. 5

[Single] FB Warmtone is about a stop and a half slower, and a grade softer, than FB Classic. Very gratifying results with the right images. Seems to look a bit cooler with D-72 at 1:1 instead of 1:2. The paper stock seems to be about the same color and brightness as FB Classic. Recommended. 5

[Single] I used FB paper for the first time. I felt that the photo would be completely different from the RC print. I think it's a very attractive and easy-to-use photographic paper. And a cool package design. 5

[Alpha Cellulose] My favorite paper for fine art printing in my darkroom. Responds well to a variety of toning methods and has beautiful rich blacks and beautiful whites. 5
