Reminiscent of a classic lab print, PermaJet USA Ultra Pearl 295 Digital Photo Paper, available here in a 25-pack of A2 paper, offers a traditional pearl finish that will benefit many photographic prints. It has a resin-coated base with a microporous coating that is both instant drying and water resistant. Also, it has an Image Protection Layer that will act as a deterrent for theft via scanning. Additionally, it has a basis weight of 295 gsm, a thickness of 11 mil, and a 103% whiteness.

A: The Arista EDU Ultra VC RC Paper (Pearl, 5 x 7", 250 Sheets) is only coated on one side, and that is the side to use.

A: Yes, you can use the Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster (17 x 22", 25 Sheets) with the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 17" Professional Photographic Inkjet Printer, B&H # CAPP1000.

A: Most Canon printers will have a setting for this paper. It depends which printer you are using and if not Canon there is a setting for other paper that is pearl or luster I would use that. Or make a few small tests at different settings to check which gives the best results.

A: Yes, I have gotten good results.

A: No, this is not a dual sided paper.

Q: 8. Can l use for canon 1000?

A: This would work with the Canon PROGRAF PRO-1000 printer, but you wold not have any ICC profiles for it.

Q: 9. Where can I get a profile for this paper?

A: If you are using a Canon Printer there will be a profile in the Canon Print driver. If you are not using a Canon printer there is no profile published by Canon. You would select a Luster or Semi Gloss profile from Epson etc.

Q: 10. which paper profile would i use for a photo r1900 epson printer?

A: I would use the profile that Epson and or the paper manufacture rec amends.

[Yes] Hahnemuhle paper is considered some of the finest ink-jet paper on the planet. I agree. This 100% cotton rag pearl paper will reflect what you see on your computer screen. It is a beautiful, heavy weight paper that will endure and hold its color for many many years. I highly recommend all of Hahnemuhle's 100% cotton rag papers. 5

[25x Sheet Paper] I like the look of black and white photography on matte inkjet papers. However, for a long time I hated printing color photography on my Epson 3800. Ink and paper are expensive, and the print quality still left a lot to be desired. My color photographs reminded me of cheap silkscreen prints. This paper is the best thing I have found for digital color photography. I love this stuff. It's not quite the same as a darkroom print, but it's good enough that I appreciate this material on it's own- not just as a substitute for darkroom materials. 5

[103%] This paper is absolutely beautiful. It looks and feels a lot like traditional silver gelatin paper. The prints are crisp and have a full tonal range. The finish on the paper is just the perfect amount of sheen and it feels nice when held. It feels like actual paper, not plastic. It also have a bit of a warm tone to it, so it is not stark white, which I like. I bought a roll of it as well and it is now one of my favorite papers. It might be more appropriate for printing black and white images, but it prints color very nicely as well. 5

[Luster] Use this paper occasionally for gallery prints. Like the brand. Am not wild about the 'Pearl' look for many prints. But, when I need it, this paper delivers. 5

[295 gsm] I am using this with a custom printer / paper profile created for my Epson 3880 with the x-Rite i1 Pro2 tool. The paper is producing very nice results for my color photos, and I have been further adding a Hahnemuhle spray coating. 5

[295 gsm] This paper is fantastic for black & white photographic prints. It is a warmer tone paper that has a silver emulsion look. It's not cheap but it is possibly the best paper I've used. 5

[103%] It's hard to find a 'bad' Hahnemuhle paper, but Pearl is really great for both color and black/whites. I'm a photo rag person, so this was the perfect mixture of rag and exhibition quality semi-gloss. I've used it for portfolio prints and fine art. 5
